2013 Predictions

December 31, 2012

Wishing you a very happy and prosperous year 2013

In January 2005, Pluto entered sidereal Sagittarius which marked the beginning of an accelerated process of spiritual growth in humanity. It has been marked by globalization, with technological and social developments that enable humans to become more closely connected, a prerequisite to move forward spiritually. During 2013, all the modern planets (Uranus, Neptune and Pluto) will continue to reside in spiritual (sidereal) zodiac signs: Pluto in Sagittarius, a fire and mutable sign ruled by Jupiter; Neptune in Aquarius, an air and fixed sign ruled by Saturn; and Uranus in Pisces, a water sign ruled by Jupiter.  Because both Saturn and Jupiter are planets of spiritual forces (as they rule the last four signs of the zodiac), in 2013, our subtle spiritual human evolution will continue at a phenomenal speed.  In fact, Libra resident exalted Saturn will likely provide an additional boost to spiritual growth. After May 30, 2013, Jupiter will enter the air sign sidereal Gemini, and it will then become responsible for collective intellectual growth and the emergence of new philosophies in accordance with the continued spiritual growth.

However, this spiritual growth is likely to be accompanied with pain and suffering as reflected in violence and terrorism in places like Afghanistan-Pakistan, North Africa, Iraq-Iran, and some other places, and also in natural calamities that include extreme weather conditions, abnormal weather patternsincreased frequency of earthquakesof significant magnitude, wildfires, hurricanes, snow storms etc. The entry of the lunar nodes Rahu (the north node) and Ketu (the south node) into sidereal Aries and Libra respectively (just before the beginning of 2013, and their residence in those respective signs throughout the year) will manifest as difficulties in starting new humanitarian projects and maintaining the balance of power between nations worldwide.  Finally, several regular and ninefold squares occur between the planets of action (Pluto, Neptune, Uranus, Saturn, Rahu, Ketu and Mars). And that may lead to undesirable events beyond human control. Such events may be particularly likely in the periods of March through May and July through October. During the same period, the world financial markets will exhibit marked volatility.

However, Jupiter’s transit in Taurus will last through May 30, 2013, and because Taurus is a fixed and earth sign, Jupiter’s collective influence result in material expansion (world economic growth) during the first half of the year.  The United States (a Uranus country) will continue to provide the platform for this economic expansion since Uranus resides in Pisces, a sign ruled by Jupiter. Despite the challenges of economic growth, advances in technology and sciences will absolutely be phenomenal due to the favorable placement of the modern planets: Uranus, Neptune and Pluto.  The major scientific and technological breakthroughs in fields of medicine, biotechnology, high technology and space science will therefore be remarkable.
