Although it’s very difficult to predict the influence of planets on a given individual without referring to his or her birth chart the following is intended only as a general guideline.  For confirmation, however, you must refer to your birth chart. Based on the assessment of planetary strengths or weaknesses in your birth chart, placement of planets in your current progressive regular and ninefold charts, and the current operating planetary cycles the following may or may not be applicable.  

Partial Lunar Eclipse (September 17/18)

A partial lunar eclipse occurs on September 17/18 during the hours of 11:30 PM to 11:30 PM (GMT) and it will be visible in the eastern and the central part of North America,  South America, and Western Asia.  It’s not a strong eclipse, and therefore, it’s not expected to influence the world events in significantly negative way. 

Neptune-Ketu trine (Aug 1 – Sept 27)

For those who have well placed Neptune, and if she is in trine with any of the two lunar nodes, and are presently being influenced by any of these planets (Neptune, Rahu, or Ketu) through their current operating cycles, are likely to experience a very positive period. Rise in self confident, strong intuitive power, and in general feeling great about everything around are some of the symptoms that you are likely to enjoy.

Collectively on global scene, this period is very positive for Russia and China. Also, most of the technological areas are likely to make significant progress via inventions and discoveries. Spiritual and religious activities are likely to impart positive energy and create a very healthy atmosphere around us.

Neptune-Saturn ninefold square (Aug 28 – Sept 1)

If you have Neptune-Saturn square in your birth chart, and if any one of these two planets influencing you now through your current progressive chart, then during this period you might want to consider postponing your plans of expansion or any new venture, and just be in defensive mode.  This square has a tendency to ruin your plans in a very deceptive manner, and usually there is very little you can do about it once the process begins.

On a collective level, countries like China and Russia may face some difficult time during this period.

Uranus-Saturn ninefold square (September 19 – 23)

When Saturn-Uranus ninefold square occurs, it is unfavorable for those who have such square or opposition in their birth charts. In addition, if the planet Uranus or Saturn is affecting your life via your current progressive chart, then you might want to consider taking extra precautions in the areas which are affected by these planets as shown in your natal chart.  In such case you should avoid taking any kind of risk at any cost during this period.  Such opposition can make things so miserable and difficult for you that most likely you are not going to forget them in your entire life. Staying low key is certainly the way to go.  Avoid any new ventures and postpone the matters that you want to begin till this period is passed. 

On a collective level, the United States of America, Russia or China may experience a social or political turmoil at home as well as tensions rising between them. 

Neptune-Uranus ninefold quincunx (May 26 – Sept 12)

On an individual level, if in your birth chart Neptune is in quincunx with Uranus, and if either of these planets is currently influencing your life via your current progressive chart, then you are very likely to be affected by this unique configuration..  Depending on the strength of these planets and houses they occupy in your birth chart, you are going to have a sudden and totally new and a very unique experience in that particular field. Be ready to embrace this powerful and spontaneous experience. Some of the likely scenarios are unexpected move (change of residence), unexpected job change (or change of surrounding at work place), unexpected severe depression, and frustration.  

At a collective level, the manifestation of Neptune-Uranus ninefold quincunx will reflect in sudden change (negative) in relationship between USA and Russia (and countries of former Soviet Union).

Mars-Pluto Quincunx (Sept 12-24)

This twelve-day period is likely to be very frustrating for those who have Mars-Pluto opposition, quincunx, square, or conjunction in their natal charts. Typically this quincunx is very unfavorable from the point of view that one might face situations that are beyond his/her control. Unexpected problems are likely to occur with astonishing speed and without any notice.  For those who have such quincunx, opposition or conjunction in their birth chart, and if they have any one of these planets influencing them through the current progressive cycle need to be on guard. Stay very low key, do not make any new commitment, and avoid taking any sort of risk. Also, experiences like a sudden incident of fire, or an accident involving explosive material are very possible. 

On the world scene, sudden outbreak of an undesirable happening,  possibilities of both natural and man-made calamities are likely. The countries that are most likely to be affected during this period will be: the United States of America, Iraq, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Palestine and Israel.

Uranus-Saturn quincunx (September 14 -28)

Saturn-Uranus quincunx usually is not good for those who have such quincunx or square in their birth charts. In addition, if the planet Uranus or Saturn is affecting your life via your current progressive chart, then you might want to consider taking extra precautions in the areas which are affected by these planets as shown in your natal chart.  Such people should avoid taking any kind of risk at any cost during this period.  Such quincunx can make things very miserable and difficult for you. Neptune-Rahu ninefold opposition (and Neptune-Ketu conjunction) (September 1-7)

For those who have Neptune and Rahu (or Neptune and Ketu) placed in the sixth, eighth, or the twelfth house in their birth chart, and current operating cycles is influenced by one of these planets are likely to experience instability caused due to sudden change in their activities and surroundings.  Such experiences might turn out to be very unfortunate and frustrating.  It would certainly be wise not to commit to anything new during this one week period and stay low key.

On the collective level, social as well as economic turmoil in Europe, Russia and China can not be ruled out.  Eastern European are also likely to be negatively influenced by this planetary configuration.  Covert activities around the world may find a new momentum (but because of Neptune’s secretive character we may never know) with regard to terrorism and other international conflicts.

Pluto-Neptune ninefold trine (September 5 -29)

At a collective level, the Pluto-Neptune ninefold trine is positive in either bringing terrorism under control or even wiping out major terrorist cells through covert operation. In addition, this ninefold trine is good for Russia and to some extent for China. Also, on technological front, expect some positive breakthroughs in high technology and biotechnology fields. 

On an individual level, if in your birth chart Pluto is in sextile with Neptune or Pluto-Neptune form a ninefold trine, and if either of these planets is currently influencing your life via your current progressive chart, then you are very likely to be positively affected by this trine.  Depending on the houses these planets occupy in your birth chart, you are going to have a positive experience in that particular field. Enjoy this experience!

Pluto-Rahu ninefold sextile (and Pluto-Ketu trine) (Sept 1-11)

If through your current progressive chart influence of either Pluto or lunar node is active and if Pluto is favorably positioned with respect to lunar nodes in your natal chart expect a very favorable time during this period. Your experience will be related to the affairs signified by the houses these planets occupy or aspects. For example if the seventh house is involved, expect a new and positive development in a relationship, or business partnership, or success in capturing the audience if you deal with masses. If eleventh house is involved November may financially prove to be a very rewarding month 

On a collective level, this is a good period for European economy. This period (Sept 1-11) is also good for progress in technical fields (new innovations and discoveries) and religious reconciliation.

Jupiter’s transit in the sidereal zodiac sign Libra (September 27)

On September 27, Jupiter leaves (sidereal) Virgo and enters the next zodiac sign, Libra.  Jupiter’s transit from one zodiac sign to the next occurs, on average, once a year. Libra being a cardinal, moving and air sign ruled by Venus, Jupiter in Libra has a tendency to enhance intellectual capacities for those who have well placed and connected Venus and Jupiter in their birth charts.   For one thing material prosperity around the worlds is likely to be expand. (It must be noted that despite Jupiter’s positive influence on world material prosperity, effects of other planets should be taken into account to assess the net result or effect). Judicial systems around the world are likely to become focus of public scrutiny, and as a result, implementation of positive changes within the existing system are likely.   In addition, the influence of contemporary philosophers on society will shape the future direction of our social evolution through the philosophical and metaphysical debates. In general, Libra Jupiter is known to be responsible for justice and fairness. So from that perspective expect some positive human right related changes during this period and welcome the Jupiter’s entry in Libra.

On individual levels, for those who have dominant Jupiter in their birth charts and have Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius, Aries, or Gemini as their natal ninefold ascendant are likely to experience a very positive twelve months period beginning September 27.

Pluto’s temporary return to the sidereal zodiac sign Scorpio (May 28 – Nov 28)

One of the important planetary events of this year is the transit of the modern planet Pluto from the sidereal zodiac sign Scorpio to Sagittarius. It first occurs on January 28. Pluto stays in Sagittarius till May 28, and then with its retrograde motion returns to Scorpio and stays in Scorpio till November 28. After November 28, 2005 it will remain in Sagittarius for the following 14 to15 years (till February 2020).  Although it’s going to be in Sagittarius for only about 4 months before it returns to Scorpio, Pluto being the planet of transformation will certainly affect the matters related to Sagittarius in a big way. The drastic changes in our collective moral and religious perceptions are certainly going to be manifested in the way we never experienced before by Pluto’s transit in Sagittarius. This era (next 15 years) will be remembered as the period of religious revolution.  The way we have been used to deal with religions will no longer be our norms.  Although it’s very likely that some of the world religions will either become obsolete or transformed into other forms the religious or moral codes will be greatly influenced by our collective spiritual experiences. And in that sense a subtle but most effective transformation of world religions during this unique era of 15 years is likely to take us to a level where the norms solely based on spiritual experiences will dictate and guide our lives with new level of understanding. 

During its temporary return to Scorpio (May 28 – Nov 28) the natural as well as man-made disasters will be on rise, the Palestine-Israel region will see a lot more of violence and terrorism.  The insurgency in Iraq will escalate, and in general, the world becomes more anxiety-stricken.  

On individual level for those who have Scorpio ninefold ascendant should become careful and prepare for a period of a potential turmoil, especially if Pluto is a dominant planet in your birth charts.
