In light of recent Uvalde elementary school shooting in Texas that killed 19 children and two teachers, it is important to note that due to the energy of Capricorn Pluto, Saturn’s entry in Aquarius starting on April 28, the manifestations of these energies are clearly reflected in the senseless killing of elementary school children, and as a result, unsettling political climate in the USA with perpetually reoccurring gun violence and gun control issue. Another aspect of this tragic event that clearly demonstrates the working of retrograde Mercury (miscommunication, misinformation and delays) and therefore, the delayed response of the law enforcement officers at the scene despite 911 calls from children inside the school and desperate pleas from the frantic parents just outside the school witnessing the massacre as being unfolded. I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s more to come about this event after Mercury gains its average speed on June 11.
Retrograde Mercury (May 10 – June 3)
On May 10, the planet Mercury turned retrograde in sidereal Taurus. It stays retrograde in Taurus till June 3. The increase usage of mind altering drugs, disregard for social and to some extent moral responsibility, rise in mental disorders, and losing the touch with reality are some of the likely symptoms of the negative side of Neptune.
