The transit of the lunar node Rahu in sidereal Gemini and Ketu in sidereal Sagittarius (Mar 8, 2019 – Sept 25, 2020)…….
The backward moving lunar nodes (which represent the point of intersections of earth’s orbit around the Sun and the Moon’s orbit around the Earth) Rahu and Ketu stay in one sign for approximately 18 to 18 1/2 months, and on or around March 8, they will change signs (Rahu from Cancer to Gemini and Ketu from Capricorn to Sagittarius). And they remain in their respective signs till September 25, 2020.
Especially for individuals, Rahu and Ketu are considered as karmic planets. Those who have Aries, Leo, Virgo, Libra and Capricorn ninefold (navamnsa) ascendant are likely to be benefited by positive energy of these lunar nodes for next 18 months or so. While Leo and Virgo ninefold ascendant people will likely to see financial gains and professional success, Libra and Aries ascendant people will put their new ideas to work by successfully implementing them. The Capricorn ascendant people will be victorious over their rivals and overcome heavy odds to be successful in whatever they do.
During next next 6 to 8 months the lunar node Rahu will be making oppositions with planets Saturn and Pluto (and simultaneously the lunar node Ketu will conjunct Saturn and Pluto) These oppositional and conjuction aspects will be very strong and intense.
The Saturn-Rahu opposition occurs during March 31 – October 23 (within three degrees). It usually deals with intense karmic experiences for both individuals and collectively for a society or nation as a whole.
For individuals, based on their natal charts, if they have challenging placement of these planets, they are likely to go through painful material experiences as a part of their karmic redemption process, and only through the awareness while going through these painful experiences, such individuals can transform their lives by understanding themselves, a process usually refers as a self realization.
On collective level (societies or nations), places like Russia, China or Saudi Arabia are likely to experience social or political unrest. In the United States, the political Republican party and republicans may go through unwanted painful experiences during this period.
The Pluto-Rahu opposition within three degree orb, occurs during February 16 – May 25 (within three degrees). Similar to Saturn-Rahu opposition it deals with intense karmic experiences for both individuals and societies or nations, but such experiences will likely to be very drastic and unbearable.
For those who have challenging placements of these planets in their natal charts, are likely to have intense karmic experiences. These experiences are extremely intense, and they will certainly (and drastically) change our comfort zones that we are used to, and after having gone through a period of struggle and adjustment, we (in a way forced) will likely to arrive at and must adjust to a new level of living (both materially and non-materially). Again the idea here is the same as that for Saturn-Rahu opposition that only through the awareness while going through these painful experiences, such individuals can transform their lives by understanding themselves, a process usually refers as self realization.
On a collective level, an eruption of new waves of violence in the Palestine-Israel region is likely. In addition, world religions in general, and religious leaders in particular, may experience themselves having to go through crisis that demand changes. In other words, the orthodox religious leaders may come under social and moral pressures to change the way they handle their responsibilities.
When combined, during April 6-14, all these three (Saturn-Pluto conjunction, Saturn-Rahu and Pluto Rahu oppositions) planetary combinations overlap, and it would be interesting to witness the world events during this period from the spiritual transformation standpoint.
A brief Jupiter’s ingress in sidereal Sagittarius (Mar 26 – Apr 27)………
On October 11,2018, Jupiter left (sidereal) Libra and entered Scorpio. Jupiter’s transit from one zodiac sign to the next occurs, on average, once a year. On March 26, 2019 Jupiter enters Sagittarius and briefly stays there until April 27 (just over a month) and then returns to Scorpio and stays in Scorpio until November 5, 2019.
Sagittarius being a cardinal and fire sign owned by Jupiter itself and therefore Sagittarius is also referred to as Jupiter’s Mulatrikona (prominent) sign. ,it’s a very favorable sign for Jupiter. It’s a sign of human spirit, morality, justice, righteousness, outspokenness and natural affinity towards people of different cultural background. One of the important characteristics of Sagittarius Jupiter is striving for freedom, equality and justice. Righteousness, independence, fighting for freedom for themselves and others are the principles they live by. They can be very spiritual, but they are likely to be actively involved in people’s life and not go in seclusion.
Teachers, priests, advisors, professors, philosophers, counselors, pioneers, explorers, world travelers and social reformers are likely to be born with a well placed Sagittarian Jupiter in their natal charts. Extravagant, abrasive, unreliable and fake are some of the qualities of a person might be the reflection of an unfavorably placed Jupiter in that person’s natal chart.
Scorpio being fixed and water sign ruled by friendly Mars, Jupiter in Scorpio has a tendency to enhance material prosperity of those who have well placed and connected Mars and Jupiter in their birth charts. For those who have Jupiter’s placement in their natal chart more inclined towards non-material aspects of life, Jupiter in water sign Scorpio is likely to help them evolve spiritually. In general, transit of Jupiter in Scorpio is positive. For one thing spiritual prosperity around the world is more likely to expand. About President Donald Trump and his challenges……
President Trump’s operating planets (the planets that presently active for him) for April continue to be Saturn and Venus. After April 20, in addition to Saturn and Venus, Moon, Pluto and Jupiter joins the list of his operating planets.
During April, Saturn will be in sidereal Sagittarius, the seventh house of his progressive chart, and it will continue to be in the 6th house of his ninefold progressive chart. Venus will be in sidereal Aquarius (the 9th house of his progressive chart) until April 15 and then in sidereal Pisces (the 10th house of his progressive chart). Jupiter will be in sidereal Scorpio till March 26 and then in Sagittarius; Pluto in Sagittarius. Both Pluto and Jupiter will be in the 7th house of his progressive chart.
From Dasa standpoint, Saturn continues to be unfavorable, being in the seventh house of his progressive chart, but favorable being in the 6th house his ninefold progressive chart. Thus, it’s a mixed picture. Due to being in the 7th house of his progressive chart, Mr. trump will likely to continue to face challenges in dealing with his friends and adversaries alike. He will continue to be haunted by Russia probe and litigations. He will even get involved in direct confrontations with people that include not only his adversaries but also his cabinet members, family members and friends. However, being in the 6th house of his ninefold progressive chart Saturn becomes favorable for him, and therefore, at least to some extent he is likely to have things go in his way with political success.
The manifestation of the 8th house resident transiting Venus will be reflected in a temporary positive recognition for his political achievements.
Despite his temporary success, the most challenging planetary event, the conjunction of the transiting Rahu with his natal Saturn with in a degree lasting through March 17, remains! Rahu being a karmic lunar node and Saturn being a planet of trials and tribulations, this period of working out of his karma will be very intense, affecting him in almost all aspects of his life.
Thus, during March, the challenging transit of Saturn in his the progressive and the favorable transit of Saturn in his ninefold progressive chart presents a mixed picture. Venus, being in the 8th house of his progressive chart, is favorable for him for his showmanship and political recognition and achievements. But, the transiting Rahu being in conjunct with his natal Saturn, spells a troubling karmic period for him from legality and insecurity standpoint, resulting in a challenging, trying and eventful month for him to deal with the ongoing Russia probe, immigration, suspicious and insecure people around him despite advancing his political agenda.

The important challenging planetary configurations for March include Pluto-Rahu (March 13 – April 12) opposition; Rahu-Jupiter (March 10-26) quincunx; Saturn-Rahu (March 25-31) ninefold quincunx; and Rahu/Ketu-Jupiter (March 16-20) ninefold squares.
The manifestation of the Pluto-Rahu (March 13 – April 12) opposition maybe reflected in an eruption of new waves of violence in the Palestine-Israel and Kashmir regions. And perhaps, towards the end of this period due to Pluto’s transformation process, the resulting changes are likely to become irreversible. Hope we see some kind of a solution. In addition, world religions in general, and religious leaders in particular, may experience themselves having to go through crisis that demand changes. In other words, the orthodox religious leaders may come under social and moral pressures to change the way they handle their responsibilities.
The Rahu-Jupiter (March 10-26) quincunx and the Rahu/Ketu-Jupiter (March 16-20) ninefold squares may mean religions around the world will have difficulty in carrying out their activities and in general, keeping people happy. The atheists and agnostics may come under fire and will be faced with the mounting task of defending themselves, as the orthodox or dogmatic social influence intensifies.
The Saturn-Rahu (March 25-31) ninefold quincunx may become responsible for social and/or political unrest in places like Russia and China and other places like Venezuela, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Yemen and Iran etc., In the United State for the Republic Party and republicans it may prove to be prudent to stay on guard during this period.
The important auspicious planetary configuration for March include Pluto-Neptune (Dec 20 – Mar 11) and Saturn-Rahu (Feb 27 – March 3) ninefold trines, and Neptune-Rahu (March 18-24) ninefold sextile.
The Pluto-Neptune (Dec 20 – Mar 11) ninefold trine may become responsible for either in bringing terrorism under control or even wiping out major terrorist cells through covert operation and further degradation of ISIS regime.
