Although Saturn-Rahu, with in a degree, direct opposition will end by early October, it’s lingering effect (within a three degree) will continue  through October 23. This opposition (with in a three degree) started sometimes during April 2019, about the time Saturn became retrograde.  

Looking back, it is interesting to note that, during Saturn retrograde period (which ended just about three weeks ago) the whole Ukraine scandal was brewing secretly behind the scene.  Even the “Whistleblower” who filed the complaint on August 22, had to wait to see it come out in public’s view until the third week of September.  Now the direct Saturn, which has been stationary for last 2-3 weeks, is gaining speed and it seems, details of the scandal will likely to come out now in open (under impeachment inquiry) in a expeditious manner. 

It has been a period when collective karmic forces have been working under full force, and experiences that typically have no logical explanations have been far more frequent at both personal and collective level.  But at the same time, It’s has been a period when after having gone through painful experiences, there’s a possibility that patience and perseverance has a chance to win.

As a result, it’s possible that the collective political experience the United States has been experiencing, may go through a process of irreversible transformation.

About President Donald Trump and his challenges……(Impeachment?) 

President Trump’s operating planets (the planets that presently active for him) for October continue to be Saturn and Venus.  And until October 22, Mars.  While Saturn and Venus will continue to be operating planets for him for several more years, Mars will continue to be till Oct 22, 2019.

During October Saturn will continue to be in the sidereal Sagittarius, in the seventh house of his Gochar (transit) chart, and in the 5th house of his ninefold Gochar (transit) chart. Venus will be in sidereal Virgo (the 4th house of his Gochar chart) till Oct 3, and then in Libra (the 5th house of his Gochar chart) till Oct 28 and then in Scorpio (the 6th house of his Gochar chart) for the rest of the month.

From Dasa standpoint, Saturn continues to be unfavorable, being in the seventh house of his progressive chart, and also unfavorable, being in the 5th house of his ninefold Gochar chart. Due to being in the 7th house of his Gochar chart and turned direct about two weeks ago and started gaining speed ,  Mr. Trump, as has been and will continue to face challenges in dealing with his friends and adversaries alike. In light of the recent “whistleblower’s complaint” he will continue to be more and more frustrated by on going friction with intelligence community as well investigations by several house committees as impeachment inquiry and his self-created feud with Congress men and women and others. He will even get involved in direct confrontations with people that will include his cabinet and family  members.  In addition, being in the 5th of of his ninefold Gochar chart) Saturn is unfavorable for him, and therefore, confusion and disappointment become keywords to describe his political experiences.

The manifestation of the 4th house resident transiting Venus until Oct 2 is favorable for him from family happiness standpoint and good times at the golf clubs.  And then the 5th house resident transiting Venus (until Oct 28) will also be favorable for general happiness, financial gains and showmanship standpoint. Thus, it’s a mixed picture when activation energies of unfavorable Saturn and favorable Venus are combined.

However, the 4th house resident Mars in his Gochar chart will certainly bring him unwanted challenges and political snafus and failures, further accelerating his downfall.

Thus, during October, while the favorable transit of Venus provides him with the opportunities to have a political success, the challenging transit of Saturn in both of his the Gochar and the ninefold Gochar charts presents a very disappointing picture.  And the active Mars in the fourth house of his Gochar chart further adds fuel to fire. October 15 thru 25 would certainly be the period to watch about political events in Washington D.C. that he would find extremely unbearable. In addition, the conjunction of explosive and operating transiting planet Saturn with Ketu in the 7th house of his Gochar chart will certainly create more political and personal challenges from legality and insecurity standpoint, resulting in an yet another trying and frustrating month for him to deal with the impeachment inquiry by House democrats into the recent “whistleblower’s” complaint, his taxes and business dealings, friction with intelligence communities, and his feud with congress women and suspicious and insecure people around him. 

However, when one looks at the close conjunction of Sun and Rahu, and Rahu and Uranus in the 10th house of his natal chart,  and Moon in very close conjunction with the lunar node Ketu in the 4th house of his natal chart, it’s not very surprising why he operates the way he does.  It seems to me, he is totally driven by the country’s (USA) destiny (at least at this point in history) which is very closely tied with his own due to the Rahu-Uranus conjunction in the 10th house of his natal chart.

It’s the reflection of what collectively the country (USA) as a whole is going through at this point in time. Perhaps, it’s a part of painful process of transformation and discovery of the next phase of its evolution, as reflected in constant churning (and becoming aware of them) of our die hard social prejudices and inherent, deeply rooted biases. If the country’s destiny is at the crossroad of “CHANGE” at this point in history, that will certainly be reflected in political events of October.

The Uranus-Mars (Oct 10-12) quincunx may become responsible for natural and man-made calamities, especially in the United States of America.

The Manifestation of the Neptune-Mars (Oct 27-29) quincunx may be reflected in a sudden outbreak of covert activities among leading nations and possibilities of both natural and man-made calamities, especially in countries like  the United States of America, Russia, China, Iraq, Iran, India, Pakistan, Palestine and Israel.

The Saturn-Jupiter (Oct 19-24) ninefold quincunx may become responsible for difficult time for world religions around the world. More controversies are likely to occur to test traditional moral values, and in general, religious authorities will have difficulty in having people keep their faith.

The Saturn-Rahu (Oct 24-29) ninefold quincunx may become cause for unrest in places like China and Russia.  And for the United States, Republican Party and republicans may need to be prudent to stay on guard during this period.

The Rahu/Ketu-Mars (Oct 20-22)  squares may become responsible for both natural and man-made calamities causing destruction and loss of lives. 

The manifestation of the deadly Saturn-Mars (Oct 25-27) square may be reflected ina short term but very intensive friction between India and Pakistan, terrorism and violence around the world, especially in Middle-East area. Also, outbreak of an undesirable happening, and occurrences of both natural and man-made calamities are strong possibilities.

The Uranus-Saturn (Oct 19-25) ninefold square may mean social or political turmoil in USA, Russia and China. Also, friction and rising tensions between USA and China and USA and Russia.  In addition, in USA, politics between democrats and republicans gets real ugly.

The important auspicious planetary configuration for October include Pluto-Saturn (Aug 15 – Oct 9) ninefold sextile and Neptune-Saturn (Oct 27 – Nov 18) sextile.

The manifestation of the Pluto-Saturn (Aug 15 – Oct 9) ninefold sextile may be reflected in a good period for European and Russian economy. This period is also good for progress in technical fields (new innovations and discoveries) and religious reconciliation.

The Neptune-Saturn (Oct 27 – Nov 18) sextile is positive for religious activities all around the world as they are likely to expand with new vigor and energy. Conservatives will find ways to expand their agenda without compromising with liberals on sticky issues. Republicans will have upper hand over democrats. China and Russia are likely to experience a positive and rewarding period in handling their domestic issues as well as improving the foreign relations through better policies.
