About President Donald Trump and his challenges……
President Trump’s operating planets (the planets that presently influence him most) for September continue to be Saturn and Venus. In addition, Mercury will be his operating planet till November 25, 2018.
During September, Saturn (becomes direct on September 6th) will be in sidereal Sagittarius, the seventh house of his progressive chart, and it will be in the 1st house of his ninefold progressive chart for the month. Venus will be in sidereal Libra (the 5th house of his progressive chart), and Mercury will be in sidereal Leo (3rd house of his progressive chart) till September 19, and then in Virgo (the 4th house of his progressive chart).
From Dasa standpoint, Saturn continues to be unfavorable (being in the seventh house of his progressive chart and in the first house of his ninefold progressive chart) for him. Therefore, Mr. trump will likely to continue to cause a lot of stir by exhibiting immature and senseless behavior in dealing with his friends and adversaries alike. He will continue to be haunted by Russia probe. He will even get involved in direct confrontations with people that include not only his adversaries but also his cabinet members, family members and friends.
The manifestation of the 5th house resident transiting Venus will be reflected in a favorable period for him from his showmanship standpoint and solid support from his base. At the same time he might get involve with women for the wrong reason and become frustrated.
The transiting Mercury in the 3rd house of his progressive charge is not good for his political life until September 19, as he will be creating more enemies and operate under fear of losing his presidency, humiliation, delays and disappointments during that time.
In addition, the transiting Mercury will be in square with his natal Uranus, Rahu and Sun during September 15-20, and the manifestation of these squares may be reflected in political turmoil and chaos that he must deal with.
Thus, during September, both the transit of Saturn and the ninefold Saturn are unfavorable, especially the ninefold Saturn (being in the first house of his progressive chart). While Venus is favorable for him from his showmanship standpoint, the transiting Saturn spells a troubling period from legality and insecurity standpoint, resulting in for yet another extremely challenging, trying and eventful month for him to deal with the ongoing Russia probe, immigration, women, suspicious and insecure people around him and for advancing his political agenda.
Transit of Mars in sidereal Capricorn…….
One of the important astrological events of 2018 is the transit of Mars in the sidereal Capricorn. Mars enters the sidereal Capricorn on May 2, 2018 and it stays in Capricorn for more than six months till November 6, 2018. During that stay in Capricorn, Mars turns retrograde on June 27 and then it becomes direct on August 28.
Mars is the planet of action, energy and strength, and it becomes exalted in Capricorn. Capricorn being the earth and cardinal sign, it’s the perfect sign for Mars to explode (cardinal being the lead sign) with a tremendous strength. And the manifestation of that energy will be reflected in the material world (earth sign) with tremendous ups and downs (ups during its direct motion and downs during its retrograde motion) that will be intensely experienced by the entire world, especially by the military personnel (Mars being the fire sign with tremendous energy and strength), sportsmen, warriors, fighters, commanders, leaders and people in power in almost every field (especially in politics and business). Also, Capricorn being the earth sign, the sign of accumulation of material wealth, the transit of Mars through Capricorn means volatility in the financial markets.
During May 2 – June 27, we are likely to enjoy the positive energy of Mars as it begins its journey through Capricorn. But then during June 27 through August 28, we are likely to feel the negative energy of the retrograde Mars as the ride starts becoming painful and frustrating. Thus, during June 27-August 28, a possibility of war, violence, destruction of material wealth due to natural as well as man-made calamities, social and political uproars, financial markets coming under tremendous pressure, political leaders and business executives feeling the pains are very real. After August 28 till November 6, we are likely to go through a slow period of recovery for at least few weeks before we regain the full speed of positive energy of Mars.
The intensity of negative energy of Capricorn Mars will be more apparent during its close square (with in three degrees) with Uranus (May 12-17; July 28 – Aug 4; Sept 15-20) and opposition with the lunar north node, Rahu (June 9-18; July 12-22; Sept 19-23).
While for those who have well placed Mars in their natal charts are likely to do well during this transit of Mars, the others will feel unbearable pain and perhaps emotional breakdowns depending on the Mar’s placement in their natal charts.
Transit of Venus in sidereal Libra…….
On September 1, the planet Venus enters the sidereal Libra, and it is going to stay in Libra till the end of this year (December 31), a long four months. It’s because while transiting through Libra it turns retrograde on October 6th, stays retrograde till November 16, and then becomes direct and stays in Libra till December 31.
Venus becomes retrograde about once every 19 months, and stays retrograde for about six weeks. In general, a Libra retrograde Venus means a very challenging period for women, marriages, home life, lovers, entertainment industries. Expect the divorce rates to peak, fighting between spouses to intensify, and delays, frustrations, and misunderstandings to take a center-stage in domestic matters. Sexual scandals of prominent people are likely to make headlines.
However during its direct motion Sept 1 through Oct 6 and then Nov 16 through December 31, it’s a very positive and rewarding period for people with Libra Venus in their natal charts. Entertainment industries likely to advance with phenomenal success.
If you have a dominating Venus in your birth chart, and if your current planetary cycle influences your life via Venus then you are more likely to experience the effects of the retrograde Venus during its retrograde period. The entertainers like actors, actresses, musicians, comedians, movie directors and producers may find themselves in a miserable situation during the retrograde Venus period especially if they are currently being influenced by Venus through their current progressive cycles.
Squares of Uranus with Lunar nodes, Rahu and Ketu (Sept 29 – Dec 29)…….
Months of October, November and December are likely to turn out to be extra-ordinarily chaotic, violent and painful for the USA, especially from politics and social unrest standpoint as the lunar nodes (Rahu and Ketu) will be squaring Aries transiting Uranus during these months. This is a long three month period due to retrograde Uranus moving almost at the same speed as the backward moving lunar nodes. And because Uranus happens to be the planet of USA and lunar nodes being Karmic, it’s likely to be filled with lot of anxieties and uncertainties culminating into the capitulation of the current state of politics in the United States as the national Karma is going to be worked out during this long three month period.
In light of President Donald Trump’s achievements and challenges so far, in my opinion, he is the symbol of the current state of the American public sentiment and the divide. Despite all the challenges, chaos and his defiance of the established norms, the reason he is still in power is solely due to the strength of his tenth house Rahu-Uranus conjunction in his natal chart representing the powerful force (support of his solid base that totally shares his view of the world) of entanglement of his destiny with the country’s destiny. Now with Uranus squaring the lunar nodes, Rahu and Ketu, his challenges are likely to multiply manifold during these three months.
The question would then be “would he survive?”. My short answer to this question is “Most likely not”. If he does (representing, for better or worse, the karmic force of the destiny of the USA), then the manifestation of his survival would certainly be reflected in the strength of his tenth house Rahu-Uranus conjunction in his natal chart representing the powerful force (support of his solid base that shares his view of the world) of entanglement of his destiny with the country’s destiny.
However, I wouldn’t be surprised if on one the fine mornings during 2018 or early 2019 we wakeup with his tweet of quitting his job or resignation or by legally being removed from the White House due to the Sun-Rahu conjunction in the tenth house of his natal chart.

The manifestation of the Saturn-Rahu (Sept 9 – Oct 3) quincunx maybe reflected in social or political unrest in Russia and/or China. In addition, for republican party and republicans including president Trump, it may prove to be prudent to stay on guard during this period.
The Pluto-Uranus (Aug 1- Sept 21) ninefold quincunx may become responsible for a unique change in the way the current US administration deals with other nations with respect to its international trade and terrorism agenda, and also with its domestic matters. There will be a transformation of a political strategy that might become responsible of a change in the current political agenda, and foreign policy matters of the Trump administration as the planet Pluto with its tremendous energy has a power of irreversibly transforming the field of politics to a new level or setting with a new set of norms.
