Although it’s very difficult to predict the influence of planetary energy on a given individual without referring to his or her birth chart the following is intended only as a general guideline. For confirmation, however, you must refer to your birth chart. Based on the assessment of planetary strengths or weaknesses in your birth chart, placement of planets in your current Gochar regular and ninefold chart and the current operating planetary cycles, the following may be applicable.

Mars-Saturn Conjunction (April 4-6)

Mars-Saturn conjunction changes a perfectly normal and healthy situation in to the one with a lot of tension and friction. For those who have such conjunction in their birth charts, and if they have any one of these planets being active through their Gochar (transit) charts, they certainly need to be on guard. Simply lay back and do nothing.  If you must involve in an unwanted situation, be extra careful and try to minimize the damage. Experiences like fire burns, rape, accidents, theft, loss of precious things, and monetary disasters are real possibilities.

On the world scene, a short term but very intensive friction between India and Pakistan is very likely. Terrorism and violence, especially in Israel-Palestine area will be on rise. Outbreak of an undesirable happening and strong occurrences of both natural and man-made calamities are real possibilities.

Mars-Rahu and Mars-Ketu Squares (April 6-8)

During these few days, Mars makes square to each of the lunar nodes. Typically these squares are very unfavorable and unfortunate in general.  For those who have these squares in their birth charts, and if they have any one of these planets is being active through the Gochar (transit) charts,, they need be careful. The best thing to do is to lay low key, not make any new commitment, and avoid taking any sort of risk.  

On the world scene, both natural and man-made calamities causing destruction and loss of lives during these days are likely.

Neptune-Jupiter conjunction (April 7-17)

Both Jupiter and Neptune are considered as auspicious planets. While Jupiter deals with outward and material things Neptune’s influence on us is very abstract and subtle. Jupiter-Neptune conjunction occurs once (actually 2-3 times with in a year’s period due to their retrograde motions) in about 13-14 years. For those who have such conjunction in their birth charts, and if they have any one of these planets being active through their Gochar (transit) charts, are certainly going to experience a transformation (irreversible change) of their beliefs and moral values that they have been attached to. It’s time for marching ahead with a quantum step in the process of self-discovery (or evolution). Embrace this period with total openness and vulnerability. It’s the time of rejuvenation with a positive force in your life. Enjoy!

On the world scene, world religions are likely to be challenged with earthshaking ideas that they must attend to. Those religious leaders, who are willing to be open minded and ready to listen and act on new and fresh ideas, are the ones that going to be responsible to transform our religious world to a new level. Others are going to fade away with time. 

Rahu-Jupiter sextile (Ketu-Jupiter trine)  (April 10-16)

Jupiter-Rahu sextile is favorable for those who have such sextile in their natal charts.  A proper balance between the optimism and conservatism will protect you from becoming over optimistic (or aggressive) as well as over protective.  If you have such trine in your birth chart, and if any one of these planets is presently influencing you through the current progressive cycle then you are likely to enjoy this period with full vigor and success as it would seem to come to you naturally. So enjoy! 

On a collective level, religions around the world will enjoy their activities with positive experiences.  People will likely to be convinced with the importance of moral values and will have no difficulty in maintaining their religious faith. 

Neptune-Rahu ninefold opposition and Neptune-Ketu ninefold conjunction (April 11-17)

For those, who have poor placing of Neptune-Rahu (or Neptune Ketu) by being especially in the sixth, eighth, and the twelfth house of their birth chart and currently at least one of these planets is being active, are likely to experience instability in their daily routine caused due to sudden change in their activities and surroundings.  Such experiences might turn out to be very unfortunate and frustrating.  It would certainly be wise not to commit to anything new during this one week period and stay low key.

On the collective level, social as well as economic turmoil in Russia and China can not be ruled out.  Covert activities around the world may find a new momentum (but because of Neptune’s secretive character we may never know) with regard to terrorism and other international conflicts.

Saturn-Rahu/Ketu squares (April 14-29)

Saturn-Rahu (and Ketu) squares are going to be devastating for those who have such squares in their natal charts.  Anything that you attempt will be failed or will result in agonizing and frustrating experience. This is not the time to take any risk.  If you have such squares in your birth chart, and if any one of these planets is presently being active through the Gochar (transit) charts, then they need be extra careful. The best thing to do is not make any new commitment, and totally avoid taking any business or monetary risk.   

On a collective level, barbaric activities all around the world are likely to increase. Terrorists are likely to be successful in creating confusion and chaos. Social turmoil in Europe and Middle East is likely. Religious activities could get stalled for no apparent reason.

Uranus-Rahu (and Ketu) ninefold square(s) (April 16-21)

Uranus-Rahu (and Ketu) ninefold squares are going to be very unfavorable for those who have such squares in their natal charts.  Sudden loss of money and power, demotions at work place and/or tarnished reputation in professional and social fields are some of the symptoms of these squares. If you have these squares in your birth chart, and if any one of these planets is being active through their Gochar (transit) charts, then they need be very careful. The best thing to do is not to make any new commitment, and totally avoid taking any business or monetary risk. Remember the time when you felt financially secured, happy with family, and suddenly the landscape turned against you and everything disappeared. Well, if not exactly the same way but something like this has a good potential to happen (again) …be careful!

On a collective level, United States and particularly the President Trump and his administration should take extra precaution in dealing with foreign matters. Terrorist activities are likely to occur in the United States besides the volatile region of the Middle-East (Afghanistan, Pakistan, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Israel and Palestine). 

Neptune-Uranus ninefold square (April 19 – May 11)

On an individual level, if in your birth chart Neptune squares Uranus, and if either of these planets is currently active via your Gochar (transit) chart, then you are very likely to be affected by this ninefold square.  Depending on the strength of these planets and houses they occupy in your birth chart, you are going to have a totally new challenge in that particular field signified by the house they occupy in your natal chart. Be ready to face this powerful and spontaneous challenge. Some of the likely scenarios are unexpected move (change of residence), unexpected job change (or change of surrounding at work place), meeting a person who is going to influence your life in a very dramatic fashion, unexpected financial windfall or loss, unexpected severe depression,  etc.  

At a collective level, the manifestation of Neptune-Uranus ninefold square will reflect in sudden change (either positive or negative) in relationship between USA and Russia (and countries of former Soviet Union) and magnificent advances in science and technology through innovations, inventions, and discoveries.

Uranus-Saturn ninefold conjunction (April 20 – May 7)

Saturn-Uranus ninefold conjunction is not good for those who have such conjunction, opposition or square in their birth charts. In addition, if the planet Uranus or Saturn is being active via your Gocher (transit) chart, then you might want to consider taking extra precautions in the areas which are affected by these planets as shown in your natal chart.  Such people should avoid taking any kind of risk at any cost during this period.  Such conjunction can make things so miserable and difficult for you that most likely you are not going to forget them in your entire life. Staying low key is certainly the way to go.  Avoid any new ventures and postpone the matters that you want to begin till this period is passed. 

On a collective level, the United States of America, Russia or China may experience social or political turmoil at home as well as tensions rising among them. 

Pluto-Jupiter sextile (April 29 – May 8)

This is an important planetary event for people who deal with religion, religious and academic institutes. This auspicious sextile could become responsible for a unique transformation in the field of religion as the planet Pluto with its tremendous energy has a power of irreversibly transforming the field of religion and academics to a new level or setting with a new set of norms. 

In your birth chart if Jupiter and Pluto are either in conjunction or trine or in sextile, and if either of these planets is being active through your Gocher (transit) chart, then you are perhaps standing on the thresh-hold of a new era that’s about to begin in your life. Depending on the houses these planets occupy in your birth chart, you are going to have a totally new and a very different experience in that particular field. Be ready to accept this new setting with new challenges as well as the rewards that come with them.

On a collective level, religious and academic and to some extent social fields are very likely to see changes coming in their respective fields. Initial reaction to the change might appear to be a bit confusing and perhaps chaotic, but majority of us are going to embrace this new wave of change and are very likely to enjoy it.

Neptune-Saturn ninefold square (April 29 – June 18)

If you have a Neptune-Saturn square in your birth chart, and if any one of these two planets is being active through your Gochar (transit) chart, then during this period you might want to consider postponing your plans of expansion or any new venture, and just stay in a defensive mode.  This square has a tendency to ruin your plans in a very deceptive manner, and usually, there is very little you can do about it once the process begins.

On a collective level, countries like China and Russia may face some difficult time during this period.
