Although it’s very difficult to predict the influence of planets on a given individual without referring to his or her birth chart the following is intended only as a general guideline. For confirmation, however, you must refer to your birth chart. Based on the assessment of planetary strengths or weaknesses in your birth chart, placement of planets in your current progressive regular and ninefold charts, and the current operating planetary cycles the following may or may not be applicable.
Retrograde Venus (October 11 – Nov 21)
On October 11, the planet Venus becomes retrograde in its motion in sidereal zodiac sign Libra. Venus becomes retrograde about once every 19 months, and stays retrograde for about six weeks. In general, a retrograde Venus means a very challenging period for women, marriages, home life, lovers, entertainment industries. Expect the divorce rates to peak, fighting between spouses to intensify, and delays, frustrations, and misunderstandings to take a center-stage in domestic matters. If you have a dominating Venus in your birth chart, and if your current planetary cycle influences your life via Venus then you are more likely to experience the effects of the retrograde Venus from October 11 to November 21. The entertainers like actors, actresses, musicians, comedians, movie directors and producers may find themselves in a miserable situation during the retrograde Venus period especially if they are currently being influenced by Venus through their current progressive cycles.
Retrograde Saturn (October 11 – February 22)
Saturn becomes retrograde on October 11 and stays retrograde till February 22, 2003.. For those who have a well placed Saturn in their birth charts and if Saturn’s period is currently in operation, then they are likely to experience slow progress. Best way to deal with retrograde Saturn is to put more energy in to whatever you do to work towards your goal.
On the world scene, generally, the projects that deal with expansion are likely to either stay on hold or experience sluggish progress. In religious world, things are likely to move at frustratingly slow rate. In the political arena what may seem like progress will turn out to be a disaster.
Retrograde Mercury (Sept 15 – Oct 7)
On September15, the planet Mercury became retrograde in its motion. It will stay retrograde in the sidereal zodiac sign Virgo until October 7. Typically retrograde Mercury means unexpected delays, frustrations, missing deadlines, unforeseen obstacles and disappointment in daily chores. Retrograde Mercury in Virgo, in general, means more frustrating periods for businesses (small businesses as well as corporations), professionals in academic field, and people in entertainment industry.
In addition, for those who deal with law enforcement, diplomats, teachers, farmers, accountants, columnists, editors, publishers, comedians, and ambassadors are more likely to experience the negative aspect of the retrograde Mercury. Also, if you have dominating Mercury in your birth chart, and if your current planetary cycle provides the results of Mercury then you are more likely to experience the effects of retrograde Mercury during this period.
Uranus-Rahu ninefold trine (and Uranus-Ketu sextile) (Sept 3 – Oct 5)
If through your current progressive chart influence of either Uranus or lunar node is active and if Uranus is favorably positioned with respect to lunar nodes in your natal chart expect a very favorable time during September. Such positive events will be related to the affairs signified by the houses these planets occupy or aspects. For example if the seventh house is involved, expect rapid positive development in your existing or new relationships, or business partnerships, or success in capturing the audience if you deal with masses. If eleventh house is involved September may financially prove to be a very rewarding month
On a collective level, this is a good period for the United States as the differences between the republicans and democrats will narrow and there will be more willingness to get something new accomplished. Also, international relations between USA and its allies will improve. This period (Sept 3 – Oct 5) is also good for progress in technical fields (new innovations and discoveries) and religious reconciliation.
Pluto-Uranus ninefold square (Sept 24 – Oct 11)
On a collective level, the Pluto-Uranus square could influence the way the Bush administration deals with other nations with respect to it’s war against terrorism agenda. Unless Bush administration comes up with a totally new approach (transformation of the present approach) in dealing with its policy to oust present regime in Iraq, President Bush will face an uphill battle to carryout his agenda. During September 24-Oct 11 period I expect a lot of foreign matter related activities that U.S. government is going to be busy with. Expect some very serious issues that the Bush administration is going to be tangled with.
On an individual level, if in your birth chart Pluto makes a square with Uranus, and if either of these planets is currently influencing your life via your current progressive chart, then you are very likely to be affected by this square. Depending on the houses these planets occupy in your birth chart, you are going to have a sudden and a totally new and a very unpleasant experience in that particular field. Be ready to face this unwanted experience. Stay alert and try not to start a new venture that requires taking risk. It’s like you are working hard and in the middle of a project, and suddenly you have to call the project off due to circumstances beyond your control.
Saturn-Mars square (Oct 12 – 15)
Watch-out for these 3-4 days in October for a possible sudden and undesirable happenings in your life if you have such square in your birth chart. It could be a sudden loss of money, unfortunate accident, or a bad news. Only thing I suppose you could do is to be prepared and avoid taking in new risk during that time.
On a collective level, natural and man-made calamities are likely, especially in the Europe and Asia.
