One of the significant planetary events for September is the the perfect conjunction of transiting Saturn and the south lunar node Ketu (and opposition of Saturn and Rahu) in sidereal Sagittarius. Sagittarius being a fire and spiritual sign ruled by Jupiter, it’s about the righteousness and our judicial perception coming under attack. It will be reflected in all aspects of our lives, especially in social, political areas and the areas where power and corruption dominates.
It’s a period when karmic forces are working under full force, and experiences that typically have no logical explanations resulting in “why it’s happening to me?” are likely to be far more frequent at both personal and collective level. But at the same time, It’s a period when after having gone through painful experiences ultimately patience and perseverance wins!
It’s a period when our prejudices and conditionings are challenged and open up the possibilities to shed them through understanding of “what is” and let go of “what should be or what we would like it to be” and the potential for seeing the reality by lifting the fog of illusion around us-a process referred to as self-realization. This is a period when a potential for true transformation (a spiritual experience) happens if we are aware and conscious about our surroundings. More on this below under Saturn-Rahu opposition.
As a result, it’s possible that the collective political, religious and social events all around the world, may go through a process of irreversible transformation (a recent example, a series of president Trump’s frustrating and insecurity driven tweets reflecting unimaginable anxieties he is exhibiting and the debates among the democratic party’s presidential nominee hopefuls) that might be required to align the forces of nature (Saturn-Ketu conjunction), as a next step of our human evolution!
The last leg of intense Saturn-Rahu opposition and Saturn-Ketu conjunction (with in one degree) ending by September 25, 2019…….
The backward moving lunar nodes (which represent the point of intersections of earth’s orbit around the Sun and the Moon’s orbit around the earth) Rahu and Ketu stay in one sign for approximately 18 to 18 1/2 months, and on March 8, they changed signs (Rahu from Cancer to Gemini and Ketu from Capricorn to Sagittarius). And they remain in their respective signs till September 25, 2020.
Especially for individuals, Rahu and Ketu are considered as karmic planets. Those who have Aries, Leo, Virgo, Libra and Capricorn ninefold (Navamansa) ascendant are likely to be benefited by positive energy of these lunar nodes for next 12 months or so. While Leo and Virgo ninefold ascendant people will likely to see financial gains and professional success, Libra and Aries ascendant people will put their new ideas to work by successfully implementing them. The Capricorn ascendant people will be victorious over their rivals and overcome heavy odds to be successful in whatever they do.
During September the lunar node Rahu will continue to be making opposition with Saturn (and simultaneously the lunar node Ketu will conjunct Saturn). This opposition and conjunction aspects will be very strong and intense.
The Saturn-Rahu opposition occurs during March 31 – October 23 (within three degrees). It usually deals with intense karmic experiences for both individuals and collectively for a society or nation as a whole.
For individuals, based on their natal charts, if they have challenging placement of these planets, they are likely to go through painful material experiences as a part of their karmic redemption process, and only through the awareness while going through these painful experiences, such individuals can transform their lives by understanding themselves, a process usually refers as a self realization.
On collective level (societies or nations), places like Russia, China, Saudi Arabia and Iran are likely to experience social or political unrest. In the United States, both the political parties, Republican and Democratic, are likely to go through unwanted painful experiences during this period.
About President Donald Trump and his challenges……
President Trump’s operating planets (the planets that presently active for him) for September continue to be Saturn and Venus. And starting August 30, Mars. While Saturn and Venus will continue to be operating planets for him for several more years, Mars will continue to be till Oct 22, 2019.
During September, Saturn will be in the sidereal Sagittarius, in the seventh house of his Gochar (transit) chart, and in the 5th house of his ninefold Gochar (transit) chart. Venus will be in sidereal Leo (the 3rd house of his Gochar chart) till Sept 9, and then in Virgo (the 4th house of his Gochar chart) for the rest of the month.
From Dasa standpoint, Saturn continues to be unfavorable, being in the seventh house of his progressive chart, and also unfavorable, being in the 5th house of his ninefold Gochar chart. Due to being in the 7th house of his Gochar chart, Mr. Trump, as has been and will continue to face challenges in dealing with his friends and adversaries alike. He will still be haunted by Mueller report and testimony’s fallout, his income tax returns and business litigations, and his self-created feud with Congress men and women and others. He will even get involved in direct confrontations with people that include with his cabinet and family members. In addition, being in the 5th of of his ninefold Gochar chart) Saturn is unfavorable for him, and therefore, confusion and disappointment become keywords to describe his political experiences.
The manifestation of the 3rd house resident transiting Venus is favorable for him from recognition, showmanship and success standpoint till Sept 9. And then the 4th house resident transiting Venus will also be favorable for him family happiness and good times at the golf clubs. Thus, it’s a mixed picture when activation energies of unfavorable Saturn and favorable Venus are combined.
The 3rd house resident Mars in his Gochar chart is positive for him till Sept 24 for political success, showmanship, prestige and power. After Sept 24, the 4th house resident Mars brings challenges and political snafus and failures.
Thus, during September, while the challenging transit of Saturn in both of his the Gochar and the ninefold Gochar charts presents a challenging picture, the favorable transit of Venus provides him with the opportunities to have a political success. The conjunction of explosive and operating transiting planets Saturn and Ketu in the 7th house of his Gochar chart will certainly create more political and personal challenges from legality and insecurity standpoint, resulting in an yet another trying and frustrating month for him to deal with the fallout from Mueller report, investigations by House democrats into his taxes and business dealings, his feud with congress women and suspicious and insecure people around him.
However, when one looks at the close conjunction of Sun and Rahu, and Rahu and Uranus in the 10th house of his natal chart, and Moon in very close conjunction with the lunar node Ketu in the 4th house of his natal chart, it’s not very surprising why he does the way he does. It seems to me, he is totally driven by the country’s (USA) destiny (at least at this point in history) which is very closely tied with his own due to the Rahu-Uranus conjunction in the 10th house of his natal chart.
It’s the reflection of what collectively the country (USA) as a whole is going through at this point in time. Perhaps, it’s a part of painful process of transformation and discovery of the next phase of its evolution, as reflected in constant churning (and becoming aware of them) of our die hard social prejudices and inherent, deeply rooted biases.
