Wishing all of you a very Happy and Prosperous 2003

Astrologically speaking and based on my own interpretation of planetary configurations of mostly the major planets for the year 2003, for the world as a whole, while the year looks promising from the standpoint of world economic growth we will still be dealing a lot with new waves of terrorism, natural and man-made calamities, and to some extent religious crisis.  Although Neptune-Jupiter opposition will be favorable for religious progress Uranus-Jupiter opposition will bring a lot of sudden changes in religious world, especially in the United States. 

Uranus-Rahu/Ketu direct squares (April 3-23) and Pluto-Uranus (Feb 26-March 18 and Nov 5 – Dec 31) will be very critical for the United States in general, and Bush administration in particular. For President Bush the entire year will be a roller-coaster ride and his character will be strongly challenged during the months of March and April. Drastic changes in his cabinet are very likely during those months. 

The year 2003 will see a tremendous development in scientific and technological areas. Uranus in Aquarius and Saturn in Gemini together are extremely favorable for achieving new frontiers in scientific and technological areas. So expect new inventions, discoveries, breakthroughs taking place at an astonishing rate.
