The important planetary configurations for the year 2007 are:

1.  Neptune-Saturn opposition (February 20-March 9 and June16-July 3)

2.  Saturn-Rahu opposition and Saturn-Ketu conjunction (Oct 6-18)

3.  Uranus-Rahu conjunction and Uranus-Ketu opposition ((March 11-29)

4.  Pluto-Jupiter conjunction (Dec 7-16)

5.  Saturn-Jupiter (March 9-27 and April 26-May 13), Pluto-Saturn (July 30-Aug 13) trines

Neptune-Saturn and Saturn-Rahu oppositions are likely to be responsible for unsteady political situation in Middle-East with renewed interest in war, suicide bombings, and terrorism.  Oil prices will be very volatile and covert activities will reach their peak. Both man-made and natural calamities are very likely to occur during the times of these oppositions.

Uranus-Rahu conjunction will be responsible for political upheaval, especially in the United States.

Pluto-Jupiter conjunction will be very favorable for religion.  Philanthropic activities will be on rise, judiciary systems around the world will likely to go through transformation with new set of laws and norms. Morality issues will be debated.

Saturn-Jupiter and Pluto-Saturn trines are very auspicious providing the needed energy to maintain world economical and political stability. World economic expansion will reflect in flourishing financial growth all around the world. Also, in scientific and technological areas advances and growth will continue to be phenomenal. Scientific and technological research will be more focused in areas that will bridge the gap between the science and morality. The likely areas of research will be in biotechnology, medicine, spiritual healing, and life-force related activities. 

The key events that are going to be responsible during the year 2007 are:

1.     Man-made calamities as manifested through violence, suicide bombings, killings of innocents, as well as natural calamities are likely to occur during February 20-March 9, March 11-29, June16-July 3, Oct 6-18. The affected areas of the world likely to include: Middle-East (Iraq, Palestine and Israel, Iran, Saudi Arabia), some part of southern Europe and the United States of America.

2.    For the world financial markets Jan 16-27, Feb 20-March 9, Mar11-29, May 5-16, June16-July 3, Aug 1-Sept 5 periods may turn out to be negative.
