Wishing you a Happy, Prosperous and Safe 2019
One of the biggest stories of 2019 is the conjunction of Saturn and Pluto in sidereal Sagittarius. The two spiritual planets in conjunction in the spiritual sign Sagittarius ruled by Jupiter makes this planetary event extremely powerful and spiritual.
The conjunction occurs twice. The first, during April 6 – May 28, 2019 (with in three deg orb) and the second one with three degree orb occurs during December 6, 2019 through February 17, 2020. With in the second conjunction period, a close conjunction of one degree orb happens from December 31, 2019 thru January 23, 2020.
Pluto is a planet of transformation. The process is irreversible and very subtle. The old must die for the new to be born. Thus, it brings drastic changes in our collective moral and spiritual perceptions (consciousness), as Pluto breaks away from the traditional barriers of our collective prejudices and conditionings.
Sagittarius being the sign that deals with religious philosophy and teachings, this is a period of religious revolution (the way we perceive the surroundings through our religious lens). And when Pluto conjuncts Saturn, the process of transformation becomes exceptionally significant, as the manifestation of the synergy of these two spiritual planets will clearly reflect in (drastic) events happening all around us (or our world).
Sagittarius, being the sign for justice and judicial system, the conventional norms of our judicial systems are likely to come under attack and scrutiny, and transform into to reflect the new norms of morality and ethics. With Saturn conjunction, Pluto’s energy will accelerate the process of transformation. And such transformations are inevitably accompanied by painful experiences. Therefore, the likelihood of war, violence, uprisings, social conflicts and anxiety filled atmosphere all around the world are real possibilities, especially in places like Middle-East, and in particular, in Israeli and Palestine region.
The world financial markets will continue to be very volatile throughout this year.
In scientific and technological areas, lot of drastic changes and emerging new ideas will find their ways into innovations and discoveries that are aligned with our collective spiritual progress, as those (new ideas) will be more focused in areas that will bridge the gap between the science and morality. The likely areas of research will be in biotechnology, medicine, spiritual healing, and life-force related activities. A new wave of philosophers with their new perspectives on living, in general, will certainly transform our world to a new level of understanding.
The next important planetary events are: Saturn-Rahu opposition and Pluto-Rahu opposition.
The Saturn-Rahu opposition occurs during March 31 – October 23 (within three degrees). It usually deals with intense karmic experiences for both individuals and collectively for a society or nation as a whole.
For individuals, based on their natal charts, if they have challenging placement of these planets, they are likely to go through painful material experiences as a part of their karmic redemption process, and only through the awareness while going through these painful experiences, such individuals can transform their lives by understanding themselves, a process usually refers as a self realization.
On collective level (societies or nations), places like Russia, China or Saudi Arabia are likely to experience social or political unrest. In the United States, the political Republican party and republicans may go through unwanted painful experiences during this period.
The Pluto-Rahu opposition within three degree orb, occurs during February 16 – May 25 (within three degrees). Similar to Saturn-Rahu opposition it deals with intense karmic experiences for both individuals and societies or nations, but such experiences will likely to be very drastic and unbearable.
For those who have challenging placements of these planets in their natal charts, are likely to have intense karmic experiences. These experiences are extremely intense, and they will certainly (and drastically) change our comfort zones that we are used to, and after having gone through a period of struggle and adjustment, we (in a way forced) will likely to arrive at and must adjust to a new level of living (both materially and non-materially). Again the idea here is the same as that for Saturn-Rahu opposition that only through the awareness while going through these painful experiences, such individuals can transform their lives by understanding themselves, a process usually refers as self realization.
On a collective level, an eruption of new waves of violence in the Palestine-Israel region is likely. In addition, world religions in general, and religious leaders in particular, may experience themselves having to go through crisis that demand changes. In other words, the orthodox religious leaders may come under social and moral pressures to change the way they handle their responsibilities.
When combined, during April 6-14, all these three (Saturn-Pluto conjunction, Saturn-Rahu and Pluto Rahu oppositions) planetary combinations overlap, and it would be interesting to witness the world events during this period from the spiritual transformation standpoint.
Other planetary events are:
Mars-Uranus conjunction (Feb 11-13) — A possibility of sudden outbreak of a new conflict affecting the United States of America can not be ruled out. It could be a man-made accident or a mishandling incident by the government.
Rahu-Mars conjunction (June 12-14) — Both natural and man-made calamities causing destruction and loss of lives, and perhaps a demise of an international level political leader are likely.
Pluto-Mars opposition: (June 18-20)— sudden outbreak of an undesirable happening, possibilities of both natural and man-made calamities are likely.
Thus, while painful karmic experiences of Saturn-Rahu and Pluto-Rahu oppositions will dominate the events, simultaneously, the year 2019 will be significantly affected by the subtle but very powerful energy of Saturn-Pluto conjunction spiritually transforming our world to a new level, a necessary step as a part of our collective spiritual growth.
