Although it’s very difficult to predict the influence of planets on a given individual without referring to his or her birth chart the following is intended only as a general guideline. For confirmation, however, you must refer to your birth chart. Based on the assessment of planetary strengths or weaknesses in your birth chart, placement of planets in your current progressive regular and ninefold charts, and the current operating planetary cycles the following may or may not be applicable.
Rahu-Pluto opposition (and Ketu-Pluto conjunction) (regular: July 1 – Aug 24, and ninefold: July 23-Aug 10)
Rahu-Pluto opposition occurs, on average, once every 16-17 years. Unless these planets are favorably placed in your birth chart, such opposition or squares between Pluto and lunar nodes, in general, means drastic changes (transformations) pertaining to aspects of your life described by the houses they belong to. Usually such transformations are accompanied with severe pains if lunar node Rahu (or Ketu), and/or Pluto is affecting your life via your current progressive chart. In my opinion, best way to deal with this situation is to (which is not easy to do) accept it (the inevitable change), and move on with your life. There’s no point in brooding over it, and not letting your past go. Just believe that on long term basis, such changes are good for you.
On a collective level, an eruption of new waves of violence in the Palestine-Israel and Kashmir regions are likely. And perhaps, towards the end of this period (by the end of August) due to Pluto’s transformation process, the resulting changes are likely to become irreversible. Hope we see some kind of a solution. In addition, world religions in general, and religious leaders in particular, may experience themselves having to go through crisis that demand changes. In other words, the orthodox religious leaders may come under social and moral pressures to change the way they handle their responsibilities.
Jupiter’s transit in the sidereal zodiac sign Cancer (July 4)
On July 4, Jupiter is leaving (sidereal) Gemini and entering the next zodiac sign, Cancer. Jupiter’s transit from one zodiac sign to the next occurs, on average, once a year. Cancer being the moving and water sign, and also the sign in which Jupiter gets exalted, expect this Jupiter to bestow on us a year of material prosperity. (It must be noted that despite Jupiter’s positive influence on world, effects of other planets should be taken into account to assess the net result or effect). Positive changes in the fields of religion and academics are very likely. The influence of contemporary philosophers on society is likely to be very pronounced in shaping the future direction of our social evolution through the philosophical and metaphysical debates. In general, the cancer Jupiter is known to reinforce the idea that there a lot more positive forces in the world to counteract and conquer over the evil. So welcome the Jupiter’s entry in Cancer.
On individual levels, for those who have dominant Jupiter in their birth charts and have Gemini, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn, or Pisces as their natal ninefold ascendant are likely to experience a very positive twelve months period beginning July 4.
Saturn’s transit in the sidereal zodiac sign Gemini (July 21)
On July 21, Saturn will enter the sidereal zodiac sign Gemini, and it will remain in Gemini till January 11, 2003. It returns to Taurus on January 12 via its retrograde motion (actually becomes retrograde on October 11, 2002) and will stay in Taurus till April 3, 2002.
Gemini being the air and dual sign, for the next two and half years, Saturn will influence commerce, academia, and economy. In my opinion, it’s going to be a very positive and exciting two and half years for those who have dominant Saturn in their birth chart and have Aries, Capricorn, Virgo, and Leo as their natal ninefold ascendant.
On a collective level, in the next two and half years, on a world political scene, Russia, and China will become much closer allies of the United States of America. This trio will counteract the terrorism in a way no one could imagine.
Neptune-Saturn ninefold trine (July 14-20)
If you have a well placed Neptune in your birth chart, and is in trine with Saturn, and if you are presently being influenced by any of these planets (Neptune or Saturn) through their current operating cycles, then you are likely to experience a very positive period in the areas signified by the houses these planets occupy in your birth chart. Strong intuitive power, very positive environment, and in general feeling great about yourself and everything around you are some of the symptoms that you are likely to enjoy.
Collectively on a global scene, this period is very positive for Russia and China. In addition, most of the technological areas (especially biotech) are likely to make significant progress via inventions and discoveries. Spiritual and religious activities are likely to impart positive energy, creating a very healthy atmosphere around us
