Although it’s very difficult to predict the influence of planets on a given individual without referring to his or her birth chart the following is intended only as a general guideline. For confirmation, however, you must refer to your birth chart. Based on the assessment of planetary strengths or weaknesses in your birth chart, placement of planets in your current progressive regular and ninefold charts, and the current operating planetary cycles the following may or may not be applicable.
Total Solar Eclipse (June 10)
A total solar eclipse occurs on June 10 during the hours of 19:00 to midnight GMT. This eclipse will be visible in the both continents of America, Countries in the northern hemisphere with latitude higher than 50 degrees or so, most of Asia including Indian subcontinent, South-East Asia, China, eastern portion of Mid-East, and Australia.
This eclipse is very important since along with the Sun and Moon the lunar node (northern or ascending node) Rahu will also be in conjunction with Saturn while the Ketu (the other node) with Pluto. Consequently this eclipse, according to Vedic astrology is likely to create extremely unfavorable, and perhaps very fearful climate all around the world. In general, June 10 may prove to be the worst day of the year for the world.
For those who have the lunar nodes in conjunction with either Sun, Moon, Saturn, or Pluto should watch-out. It’s not a good day! Take extra precaution and avoid any sort of outdoor activity requiring you to get out of house.
Partial Lunar Eclipse (June 24)
A partial lunar eclipse occurs on June 24 during the hours of 19:00 to 23:00 GMT. It’s not a strong eclipse, and it will be visible only in the eastern part of North America, Europe, and South America. Since it’s a weaker type I don’t expect it to influence the world events in significantly negative way.
Retrograde Mercury (May 16 – June 9)
On May 16, the planet Mercury became retrograde in its motion. It will stay retrograde in the sidereal zodiac sign Taurus until June 9. Typically retrograde Mercury means unexpected delays, frustrations, missing deadlines, unforeseen obstacles and disappointment in daily chores. Retrograde Mercury in Taurus, in general, means more frustrating periods for businesses (small businesses as well as corporations), constructions and heavy metal workers, people in entertainment fields, bankers, and brokerage houses.
In addition, for those who deal with gold or diamonds, orators, columnists, dancers, singers are more likely to experience the negative aspect of the retrograde Mercury. Also, if you have dominating Mercury in your birth chart, and if your current planetary cycle provides the results of Mercury then you are more likely to experience the effects of retrograde Mercury during this period.
Ketu-Saturn opposition (and Rahu-Saturn conjunction) (June 1-10)
The time when Saturn-Ketu ninefold opposition occurs is not good for those who have such opposition or squares in their birth charts. In addition, the lunar node Rahu (or Ketu), or Saturn is affecting your life via your current progressive chart, then you might want to consider taking extra precautions in the areas which are affected by these planets as shown in your natal chart. Such people should avoid taking any kind of risk at any cost during this period. Such opposition can make things so miserable and difficult for you that you are never going to forget them in your life. Staying low key is certainly the way to go. Avoid any new ventures and postpone the matters that you want to begin till this period is passed.
On a collective level, Russia or China may experience social or political turmoil. Also, in the United State for the Republic Party and republicans including the republican president Bush it may prove to be prudent to stay on guard during this period.
Jupiter-Rahu (and Ketu) ninefold square(s) (June 6-9)
Jupiter-Rahu (and Ketu) ninefold squares are going to be very unfavorable for those who have such squares in their natal charts. Insecure feeling, loss of direction in life, general unhappiness, difficulty in keeping the faith in God are some of the symptoms of these squares. If you have such squares in your birth chart, and if any one of these planets is presently influencing you through the current progressive cycle then you need to look at the things in positive way. The best thing to do is not change the course of action without making any new commitment. Remember the time when you felt the life is not fair and not worth living, very unsure to yourself, and unhappy with family.. Well, that’s how you going to feel this time. Keep your faith!
On a collective level, religions around the world will find difficulty in carrying out their agendas and in general keeping people happy. Loss of a well known religious figurehead is likely.
Neptune-Ketu ninefold trine (June 11-28)
For those who have well placed Neptune, and she is in trine with any of the two lunar nodes, and are presently being influenced by any of these planets (Neptune, Rahu, or Ketu) through their current operating cycles, are likely to experience a very positive period. Rise in self confident, strong intuitive power, and in general feeling great about everything around are some of the symptoms that you are likely to experience.
Collectively on global scene, this period is very positive for Russia and China. Most of the technological areas are likely to make significant progress via inventions and discoveries. Spiritual and religious activities are likely to impart positive energy and creative a very healthy atmosphere around us.
