Although it’s very difficult to predict the influence of planets on a given individual without referring to his or her birth chart the following is intended only as a general guideline. For confirmation, however, you must refer to your birth chart. Based on the assessment of planetary strengths or weaknesses in your birth chart, placement of planets in your current progressive regular and ninefold charts, and the current operating planetary cycles the following may or may not be applicable.
Pluto-Saturn ninefold opposition (May 17 – 23)
For those who have a conjunction, square, or opposition of Pluto and Saturn in their birth charts, and for those whose current planetary operating cycle is influenced by either of these planets are likely to experience a setback or turmoil in their lives. Such opposition can become a very strong force to destroy the current setting of your lifestyle and transform it to a totally new setting which may or may not be desirable depending on the strength and positive influence of these planets in the natal chart. In any event it’s going to be an irreversible event.
On the collective level, expect the outbreak of violence and terrorist activities, natural as well as man-made calamities, and to some extent, war-like climate in some parts of the world. Instability in Iraq due to suicide bombings and terrorist activities and escalating tension between Israelis and Palestinians is likely. A few eastern European countries, Russia, and China may experience political or social turmoil.
Pluto-Neptune ninefold trine (April 24 -May 18)
At a collective level, the Pluto-Neptune ninefold trine is positive in either bringing terrorism under control or even wiping out major terrorist cells through covert operation. In addition, this ninefold trine is good for Russia and to some extent for China. Also, on technological front, expect some positive breakthroughs in high technology and biotechnology fields.
On an individual level, if in your birth chart Pluto is in sextile with Neptune or Pluto-Neptune form a ninefold trine, and if either of these planets is currently influencing your life via your current progressive chart, then you are very likely to be positively affected by this trine. This five-day period is likely to be very frustrating for those who have Mars-Neptune opposition, quincunx, square, or conjunction in their natal charts. Typically this quincunx is very unfavorable from the point of view of being deceived or becoming a victim of a scam or scheme. Usually one does not notice problems until it’s too late. For those who have such quincunx, opposition or conjunction in their birth chart, and if they have any one of these planets influencing them through the current progressive cycle need to be on guard and absolutely not take any risk whatsoever. Stay very low key and do not make any new commitment. Also, unwanted experiences involving external forces, such as ghost or spirit, or a victim of a voodoo experiment are very possible.
On the world scene, outbreak of covert activities among leading nations and possibilities of both natural and man-made calamities are likely. The countries that are most likely to be affected during this period will be: the United States of America, Russia, China, Iraq, Iran, Palestine and Israel.

This four-day period is likely to be very frustrating for those who have Mars-Pluto opposition, quincunx, square, or conjunction in their natal charts. Typically this quincunx is very unfavorable from the point of view of facing situations that are beyond our control. Unexpected problems are likely to occur with astonishing speed and without any notice. For those who have such quincunx, opposition or conjunction in their birth chart, and if they have any one of these planets influencing them through the current progressive cycle need to be on guard. Stay very low key, do not make any new commitment, and avoid taking any sort of risk. Also, experiences like a sudden incident of fire, or an accident involving explosive material are very possible.

Uranus-Rahu ninefold quincunx (May 24 – June 1)

This quincunx can become dangerous, and ruin your plans and bring about the unexpected disaster in every which way. In short, during this period you have been tested. If you have very strong and positively placed lunar nodes and Uranus in your birth chart, then perhaps you need not worry.
On a collective level, the United States and in particular, the Republic Party and republicans including the republican president Bush are likely to run into some very difficult period. Also, USA and China may go through a crisis situation during this period.
