Although it’s very difficult to predict the influence of planets on a given individual without referring to his or her birth chart the following is intended only as a general guideline.  For confirmation, however, you must refer to your birth chart. Based on the assessment of planetary strengths or weaknesses in your birth chart, placement of planets in your current progressive regular and ninefold charts, and the current operating planetary cycles the following may or may not be applicable.  

Pluto-Neptune ninefold quincunx (Sept 8 – Oct 8)

For those who have quincunx, square, or opposition of Pluto with Neptune in their birth charts, and for those whose Gochar (transit) chart is influenced by either of these planets are likely to experience a subtle setback due to deceptive surroundings around you.  Such quincunx can become a very strong force in creating an illusion and, as a result, confusion around and with in you. It can become very difficult to stay cool, and there’s not a whole lot you can do about it except by not venturing out into anything new and bear with the current situation with a grin. 

On a collective level, outbreak of violence and terrorist activities in Middle east likely, especially in Syria, Iraq, Israel and Palestine region. Also, the occurrences of natural as well as man-made calamities are more likely. Some of the east-European countries, Russia, and China may experience political as well as social turmoil.

Mars-Saturn square (Sept 26 – Oct 2)

Mars-Saturn square, for no apparent reason, changes a perfectly normal and healthy situation in to the one with a lot of tension and friction with new challenges. For those who have such square in the birth charts, and if any one of these planets are influencing them through the current progressive cycles certainly need to be on guard. If you must involve in an unwanted situation, be extra careful and try to minimize the damage. Experiences like fire burns, rape, accidents, loss of precious things, and monetary disasters are real possibilities.

On the world scene, a short term but very intensive friction between India and Pakistan is very likely. Terrorism and violence around the world, especially in Iraq and Israel-Palestine area will be on rise. Outbreak of an undesirable happening, and occurrences of both natural and man-made calamities are strong possibilities.

Neptune-Saturn ninefold trine (Oct 2-17)

If you have a well placed Neptune in your birth chart and is in trine with Saturn, and if you are presently being influenced by any of these planets (Neptune or Saturn) through their current operating cycles, then you are likely to experience a very positive period in the areas signified by the houses these planets occupy in your birth chart. Strong intuitive power, very positive environment, and in general, feeling great about yourself and everything around you are some of the symptoms that you are likely to enjoy.

Collectively on a global scene, this period is very positive for Russia and China. In addition, most of the technological areas, especially in medical field, are likely to make significant progress via inventions and discoveries. Spiritual and religious activities are likely to impart positive energy, creating a very healthy atmosphere around us.

Pluto-Rahu ninefold quincunx (Oct 6-9))

Unless these planets are favorably placed in your birth chart, such quincunx between Pluto and any one of the lunar nodes, in general, means drastic unwanted changes (transformations) pertaining to aspects of your life described by the houses they belong to. Usually such transformations are very painful if lunar node Rahu (or Ketu), and/or Pluto is affecting your life via your current progressive chart.  In my opinion, best way to deal with this situation is to (which is not easy to do) accept the inevitable change, and move on with your life. There’s no point in brooding over it, and not letting your past go.

On a collective level, an eruption of new waves of violence in the Palestine-Israel, Syria and  Afghanistan-Pakistan regions are likely. And perhaps, towards the end of this period due to Pluto’s transformation process, the resulting changes are likely to become irreversible. In addition, world religions in general, and religious leaders in particular, may experience themselves having to go through crisis that demand changes. In other words, the orthodox religious leaders may come under social and moral pressures to change the way they handle their responsibilities. 

Pluto-Mars Square (Oct 6-12)

This square may cause great turmoil in lives of individuals who have Pluto-Mars square in their natal charts.  Depending on the positions of these planets the matters related to the respective houses are likely to be affected.  The severity of the manifestation would be proportional to the strength of this square in the natal chart.  The sudden or drastic change in profession or at work place are common manifestations of this square.   

On collective level or on world scene, natural and man-made calamities can not be ruled out.

Saturn-Jupiter ninefold sextile (Oct 8-17)

Jupiter-Saturn ninefold sextile is favorable for those who have such sextile in their natal charts.  A proper balance between the optimism and conservatism will protect you from becoming over optimistic (or aggressive) as well as over protective.  If you have such sextile in your birth chart, and if any one of these planets is presently influencing you through the Gochar (transit) chart then you are likely to enjoy this period with full vigor and success as it would seem to come to you naturally. So enjoy! 

On a collective level, religions around the world will enjoy their activities with positive experiences.  People will likely to be convinced with the importance of moral values and will have no difficulty in maintaining their religious faith. 

Pluto-Uranus ninefold trine (Oct 11-25)

Uranus-Pluto ninefold trine is going to be very favorable for those who have these planets favorably placed in their natal charts.  Expect monetary as well as power gains, promotions and improved prestige in professional and social fields.  The ideas that you always wanted to pursue but somehow could never get started….now is the time to follow that dream. You will distinctly notice and feel the positive impulse during this period.  It’s time to jump in and enjoy this period.

On a collective level, this is an extraordinary time for technological discoveries and inventions.  Expect some new important technological breakthroughs during this month. For the United States, in general, this month is going to be remarkable and successful month.

Uranus-Jupiter ninefold square (Oct 15-19)

While Jupiter deals with outward and material things Uranus’s impulse is very sudden and  with severe intensity.  If you have such square in your birth chart, and if you have any one of these two planets influencing you through your current progressive cycle then you are certainly going to have an experience of an extreme transformation (irreversible change) in your beliefs and moral values that you have been attached to. This period is challenging.  If you overcome the challenge, then it’s time for marching ahead with a quantum leap in the process of self discovery (or evolution). 

On the world scene, world religions are likely to be challenged with earthshaking ideas that they must attend to. Those religious leaders, who are willing to be open minded and ready to listen and act on new and fresh ideas, are the ones that going to be responsible to transform our religious world to a new level. Others are going to fade away with time. 

Uranus-Saturn ninefold quincunx (Oct 17-25)

When Saturn-Uranus ninefold quincunx occurs, it is not good for you if you have such quincunx or square in your birth chart. In addition, if the planet Uranus or Saturn is affecting your life via your current progressive chart, then you might want to consider taking extra precautions in the areas which are affected by these planets as shown in your natal chart.  You should avoid taking any kind of risk at any cost during this period.  Such quincunx can make things very miserable and difficult for you. Staying low key is certainly the way to go.  Avoid any new ventures and postpone the matters that you want to begin till this period is passed. 

On a collective level, the United States of America, Russia or China may experience social or political turmoil at home as well as tensions rising among them. 

Pluto-Rahu and Pluto-Ketu ninefold squares (Oct 18-27)

The ninefold squares of Pluto with the lunar nodes are generally have tendencies to destroy the present setting of life and transform it in to a totally new one. Those who have better placed lunar nodes and their connections with Pluto, are likely to adapt well to this new change and move to their next level of evolution, while others are likely to struggle and may find the change unbearable. Perhaps the best way to deal with this situation is to stay alert and be extremely cautious in dealing with your surroundings that affect you. Avoid taking any new risk during this period.  And probably be prepared for situations that are going to get worse before they get better with new direction in life. Saturn-Rahu ninefold trine is usually favorable for those who have lunar nodes favorably placed in their natal charts with respect to Saturn.  If such placing is connected to the first house, second house, ninth house, tenth house, or eleventh house then expect monetary as well as power gains, promotions and improved prestige in professional and social fields.  The ideas that you always wanted to pursue your desired goals but somehow could never get started….now is the time to follow that dream. You will distinctly notice and feel the positive energy flowing through you during this period.  It’s time to jump in and enjoy this period.

Neptune-Uranus ninefold square (Oct 30 – Nov 21)

On an individual level, if in your birth chart Neptune squares Uranus, and if either of these planets is currently influencing your life via your current progressive chart, then you are very likely to be affected by this ninefold square.  Depending on the strength of these planets and houses they occupy in your birth chart, you are going to have a totally new challenge in that particular field signified by the house they occupy in your natal chart. Be ready to face this powerful and spontaneous challenge. Some of the likely scenarios are unexpected move (change of residence), unexpected job change (or change of surrounding at work place), meeting a person who is going to influence your life in a very dramatic fashion, unexpected financial windfall or loss, unexpected severe depression,  etc.  

At a collective level, the manifestation of Neptune-Uranus ninefold square will reflect in sudden change (either positive and negative) in relationship between USA and Russia (and countries of former Soviet Union) and magnificent advances in science and technology through innovations, inventions, and discoveries.
