About the Uranus-Ketu conjunction, the squares of Pluto with Uranus and Pluto with the lunar nodes………
One of the most important planetary combinations (and therefore event) of this year has been taking place since last few days and it will continue through the entire February. It is the conjunction (with less than a degree orb) of Uranus with Ketu (the South lunar node) along with the square (with less than degree orb) of Uranus with Pluto, and the squares of lunar nodes with Pluto. It’s the major period of subtle and collective transformation both materially as well as spiritually on our earth.
Uranus, the planet of tremendous strength and quickness (and it typically acts as a catalyst to provide the boost of either material or spiritual energy to the planet depending on the nature of the the planet it conjuncts with, squares with, etc,) when conjuncts with Ketu (extremely spiritual and non-material planet) the collective spiritual transformation occurs at a larger scale and higher speed. Also, at the same time, the occurrence of Pluto’s square (Pluto is the planet of tremendous irreversible transformation) with the lunar nodes and the Uranus intensifying the process not only of the collective spiritual transformation but also of the collective material transformation (Pluto square Rahu (the North lunar node) and Pluto square Uranus).
As a result, the month of February is likely to witness the multiple and overwhelming events of simultaneous pain and excitement. And the manifestations of these events are likely to be reflected in the rearrangement of social environment, deeper level religious and spiritual transformations and the drastic changes in the political landscape all around the world.

The Uranus-Rahu (Jan 19 – Feb 10) opposition may become responsible for a difficult and challenging period for the United States, and in particular, for the Republican Party and republicans. Also, USA and China may go through a crisis situation during this period.
The manifestation of the Neptune-Rahu ninefold quincunx (Feb 1-7) maybe reflected in social as well as economic turmoil in Russia and China. The Uranus-Saturn (Jan 20 – Feb 4) ninefold square means social or political turmoil for the USA, Russia and/or China as well as the increasing friction between the USA and Russia or China.
The square of Uranus with Pluto (Nov 22-April 6) has been responsible for changes in the way the Obama administration deals with other nations with respect to its war against terrorism and other international as well as domestic matters. There has been a continuous transformation of the administration’s political strategy (dealing with the ISIS and other militant groups) in the field of politics to a new level or settings with a new set of norms.
The manifestation of the Pluto-Saturn ninefold conjunction (Feb 16 – March 14) is likely to be reflected in a renewed outbreak of violence and terrorism around the world. Also, natural calamities like earthquakes, severe weather conditions, natural as well as man made accidents are more likely during this period.

For February 2015, President Obama’s operating planets are going to be Mercury; until February 12, Venus and Neptune, and thereafter Jupiter. The month begins with the retrograde Mercury in sidereal Capricorn (and in the 6th house of his progressive chart). Mercury turns direct in Capricorn on February 13 and it remains in Capricorn through the entire month.
Since the sixth house Mercury is favorable (popularity, gains and success) for him, he is likely to enjoy Mercury’s positive energy to successfully deal with the both international and domestic issues throughout the entire month.
Until February 12, the Aquarius Venus transits through the seventh house of his progressive chart, and Neptune, being in the 7th house of his progressive chart, until February 12, Neptune will continue to play a role of deception in dealing with people around him.
However, after February 12, he is no longer going to be influenced by Venus and Neptune, but Jupiter instead (in addition to Mercury as described above). The retrograde Jupiter is presently transiting through the 12th house of his progressive chart and through the 6th house of his ninefold progressive chart. There will be a big transformation in his political strategy that president Obama will adapt to for dealing with the congress as the planet Pluto with its tremendous energy has a power of irreversibly transforming the field of politics.
