The transit of Mars in the sidereal Aries (Feb 5 – March 22)………
The transit of Mars in the sidereal Aries is likely to dominate the headlines for February and March. Mars enters the sidereal Aries on February 5, and it stays in Aries till March 22.
Mars is the planet of action, energy and strength, and a fire sign Aries is ruled by Mars. Aries is also the cardinal sign that loves to rule, lead and dominate the surroundings. Thus, for fiery and action oriented dominating planet like Mars, it’s the perfect setting for Mars to explode (cardinal being the lead sign) with tremendous strength. And the manifestation of that energy will be reflected in both the material (Mars being the material planet) and spiritual (Aries being the fire sign) with tremendous ups and downs that will be intensely felt by the entire world, especially by the military personnel (Mars being the fire sign with tremendous energy and strength), sportsmen, warriors, fighters, commanders, leaders and people in power in almost every field (especially in politics and business). Also, Aries being the fire sign, the sign of domination, aggression, power, the transit of Mars means volatility in international as well as in national politics and in the financial markets.
In addition, and probably one of the most important planetary combinations, is the conjunction of Mars with Uranus. Although the close conjunction (with in a degree) occurs during three days, February 11-13, both being in Aries (Fire and cardinal sign) it’s a very powerful conjunction in Aries that will last through March 22.
As mentioned above, Aries being the fire and cardinal sign, is very suitable for independent, ambitious, energetic, impulsive and crazy Uranus. The changes in world political landscape has been tremendously influenced by Uranus’s transit in Aries (Brexit, Donald Trump’s stunning upset victory, etc.,) . Now combine the Uranus’s energy with that of explosive and impulsive Mars, it’s a perfect recipe for disaster if these energies are not properly aligned. The upcoming Brexit saga will certainly make a big headline during February, especially around Feb 11-13. At the same time, president Trump is likely to face a very stressful period.
The people who are most affected by this conjunction are military personnel, people in power such as business leaders and political leaders. In scientific and technological areas expect drastic changes; and emerging new ideas will find their way into innovations and discoveries. Since the characteristics of Uranus are closely tied with that of the United States as a country, with Uranus-Mars conjunction, expect extraordinary political and financial events until March 22.
Furthermore, Mars squares lunar nodes Rahu and Ketu during February 6-7. The manifestation of this undesirable planetary combination likely to be reflected in both the natural and man-made calamities causing destruction and loss of lives during this period.

President Trump’s operating planets (the planets that presently active for him) for February continue to be Saturn and Venus.
During February, Saturn will be in sidereal Sagittarius, the seventh house of his progressive chart, and it will be in the 5th house of his ninefold progressive chart till February 25, and then in the sixth house of his ninefold progressive chart for the rest of the month. Venus will be in sidereal Sagittarius (the 7th house of his progressive chart) till Feb 24, and then in Capricorn..
From Dasa standpoint, Saturn continues to be unfavorable, being in the seventh house of his progressive chart, and in the 5th house (till Feb 25) of his ninefold progressive chart . As a result, Mr. trump is likely to continue to have challenges in dealing with his friends and adversaries alike. He will continue to be haunted by Russia probe. He will even get involved in direct confrontations with people that include not only his adversaries but also his cabinet members, family members and friends. Frustration, confusion, depression, etc, will take the center stage for the entire month for him.
The manifestation of the 7th house resident transiting Venus will be reflected in a direct confrontation with females causing him to not only worry about feeling defeated, but becoming quarrelsome, and forced to face the mounting pressure of political and legal challenges. A serious health issue may develop. An existing rift between him and the first lady is likely to become wider. His involvement and issues with women likely to continue. Also, the transiting Rahu will continue to be in conjunct with his natal Venus till Feb 7, confirming a higher degree of possibility of surfacing his problems with women.
In addition, the transiting Rahu, conjuncts his natal Saturn with in a degree starting February 7, and the conjunction will last through March 17. Rahu being a karmic planet and Saturn being a planet of trials and tribulations, this period of working out of his karma will be very intense, affecting him in almost all aspects of his life.
Thus, during February, the transits of both the progressive and ninefold progressive Saturn are unfavorable, Venus, being in the 7th house of his progressive chart, is very difficult causing him to experience a painful period, feeling defeated, quarrelsome, and forced to face mounting political and legal challenges. Furthermore, the transiting Rahu in conjunct with his natal Saturn, spells a troubling karmic period for him from legality and insecurity standpoint, resulting in an extremely challenging, trying and eventful month for him to deal with the ongoing Russia probe, immigration, women, suspicious and insecure people around him and for advancing his political agenda.
