About Brexit..…
Personally, I don’t put a lot of stalk in the chart of a country since before the inception time of the chart the land existed. Instead, I look at the characteristics of the zodiac signs and planets associated with that land and the planetary transits.
In my opinion, UK is very closely tied with the sign Aries, a cardinal and fiery sign ruled my mighty Mars, and where Sun gets exalted. This is clearly reflected in the way Briton dominated the world in last few centuries.
Given Mars in sidereal Scorpio with Saturn…(read below about transit of Mars in Scorpio) not a very desirable combination for UK. However, Uranus in Aries could be a spark of brilliance. Uranus being very independent and Aries (ruled by Mars) being extremely independent sign…this combination may produce very positive for UK. (read below about the Uranus transit in Aries). But Uranus being whimsical and as it constantly demands change (therefore unsteady) it would be very interesting to watch events unfolding during June 24 – September 4 in UK. Because Uranus returns to sidereal Pisces after Sept 4 and stays in Pisces till April 6, a possibility of reversal of Brexit (which may very well be short lived) exists! Let us see how Briton evolves during next few months. It will be a glimpse or indication of what to come in the following 6-7 years for UK.
About President Obama and his challenges……
President Obama’s operating planets (the planets that presently influence him most) continue to be Mercury and Sun. In addition from July 1 through August 20, 2016 Mars, Jupiter and Saturn join the group of the operating planets for him. Given the current transits of Mars and Saturn with respect to his progressive chart it’s going to be a hell of a month for him.
During July, Mercury stays in sidereal Gemini (the eleventh house of his progressive chart) till July 11, then in Cancer (in the 12th house of his progressive chart) till July 27, and finally in Leo (the first house of his progressive chart) till the end of the month.
Until July 11, the favorable eleventh house Mercury means, he will have favorable time in achieving some of his political as well as personal goals with outstanding results. However, after July 11, both the twelfth and the first house Mercury will be un favorable for him as he will be encountering setbacks and humiliation, and will have difficult time in staying focused and avoiding the wrong company of people. As a result it will be a very stressful period for him.
Sun is presently transiting through the favorable eleventh house of his progressive chart till July 16. And then for the remaining part of the month, through the un favorable twelfth house of his progressive chart. As a result, until July 16, from Sun’s transit standpoint, He will likely to succeed in dealing with the both the domestic and international issues. His popularity will be on rise both domestically and internationally. However after July 16, his second half of the month can be summarized with keyword like disappointment, vacillation, mental stress and defeat.
Mars transits through Libra (the favorable third house of his progressive chart) till July 11, and then through Scorpio (the unfavorable fourth house) for the rest of the month. Thus, while he will be successfully governing the country till July 11, he will find himself in a swirl of domestic challenges after July 11 with a diminishing degree of success in dealing with them.
Jupiter is reasonably favorable for him during July except July 3-24, during which time his experience is likely to be dominated with insult and humiliation.
The retrograde Saturn being in the fourth of house of his progressive chart, one of the most activities of his presidency will be the Homeland Security. He will be occupied fulltime in dealing with homeland security issues.
Thus, summing the influence of all the operating planets as explained above, overall, July looks to be an extremely challenging month for him, especially after July 11. July 11 (+/- couple of days) may turn out to be a crucial key date of the month for him marking the beginning of avalanche of his upcoming challenges.
Uranus enters sidereal Aries ……..
One of the important planetary events of 2016 is the transit of the modern planet Uranus from sidereal Pisces to Aries. Uranus entered sidereal Aries on June 24, and it will stay there till September 4 before it returns to Pisces due to its retrograde motion. It will station in Pisces until April 6, 2017 and then will return to Aries, and will stay in Aries for the next seven years or so.
Although it’s going to be in Aries for a short while (June 24 – Sept 4) before it returns to Aries next year, Uranus being the planet of change will certainly affect the matters related to Aries in a big way. Aries being the fire and cardinal sign, which is very suitable for independent, ambitious, energetic, impulsive and crazy Uranus, the changes in world political landscape is going to be tremendously influenced by Uranus’s transit in Aries. The people who are most affected by this transit are military personnel, business leaders and political leaders. In scientific and technological areas expect a lot of drastic changes and emerging new ideas will find their way into innovations and discoveries. The scientific and technological growth rate will rise at a very rapid pace. A new wave of world political and corporation leaders with their new perspectives on world order will certainly transform our world in next 6-7 years to a new level to which we must adjust to. Since the characteristics of Uranus are closely tied with that of the United States as a country, I wouldn’t be surprised if the both current presumed the democratic and the republican presidential nominees go through a painful process of conducting their campaign and may be faced with surprises at their party’s national conventions since both of these conventions are going to take place during June 24 – September 4.
On individual level for those who have Aries ninefold ascendant should get ready for a brand new cycle of change, especially a very pronounced cycle if Uranus is a dominant planet in their birth charts. The changes that might occur would be sudden and would deal with pretty much all aspects of life including marriage, profession, surroundings, common perceptions and beliefs, and the way of living.
About transit of Mars in Scorpio……
The planet Mars entered the sidereal zodiac sign Scorpio on February 20. While in Scorpio, it turned retrograde on April 18. With its retrograde motion it went back in Libra on June 18. It became direct in Libra on June 30 and then with it’s direct motion will re-enter Scorpio on July 11. It will remain in Scorpio until September 18. Thus, except for June 18- July 11, Mars occupies Scorpio from February 20 through September 18. Saturn, being in Scorpio all through 2016, conjuncts Mars with one degree orb during August 20-28.
Scorpio being a water and fixed sign ruled by Mars, it becomes extremely challenging for Scorpio resident Saturn when Mars is in Scorpio. Because by nature, Mars and Saturn do not complement each other, when Mars dominates (being the ruler of Scorpio) Saturn is naturally going to feel totally out of place in Scorpio. Furthermore, because Scorpio is a water (emotional) sign, Saturn in Scorpio feels suffocated, withdrawn and paralyzed. Due to the presence of Mars, Saturn is very likely to go off track and potentially become self-destructive.
As a result of this challenging combination of Saturn and Mars in Scorpio, February 20 through September 18 will be filled with undesirable activities that will affect not only the Middle-East but the entire world. Some of the manifestations of this conjunction are: terrorism, ongoing barbaric activities, senseless killings, persecutions, pain and suffering, violence, wars and intolerable and tragic situations for those who cannot defend themselves. In the United States, the Republican Party will go through a dramatic and painful experience since Saturn represents conservative principles. Financial markets, especially oil and energy-related markets will exhibit tremendous volatility. Natural calamities, including extreme weather conditions, abnormal weather patterns, earthquakes of significant magnitude, wildfires, hurricanes, snow storms etc., are likely to occur more frequently. Those who are born with the Scorpio as ascendant or with Moon in Scorpio are likely to experience difficult period filled with challenges; but the very same experience will likely to provide them with the opportunity to transform their lives in a positive way (self-discovery).
