The month of November begins (Nov 1) with the retrograde Mercury in sidereal Scorpio.  Anxieties, communication breakdowns, unexpected delays, frustrations, missing deadlines, unforeseen obstacles and disappointment in daily chores are likely to take a center-stage in lives of  leaders in military, military personnel, people working in hospitals and funeral homes, activists, politicians, athletes, terrorists and people involved in secrecy and covert operations. In general, for those who have dominant Mercury in their natal chart are likely to experience the retrograde Mercury’s energy in varying degrees depending on the disposition of this transiting Mercury in their transit charts.  More on this below.

On November 4, Jupiter enters the sidereal Sagittarius, the sign ruled by Jupiter.  It’s going to be  auspicious time, especially for those who have well disposed Jupiter in their natal charts. Sagittarius is a mutable and fire sign, and it deals with philosophy, judiciary system, social justice, morality, and religion. In addition, Sagittarius Jupiter is known to be responsible for leading the world towards a spiritual direction through subtle actions. So from that perspective expect some positive morality related changes during this period and welcome the Jupiter’s entry in Sagittarius. 

On an individual level, for those who have a dominant Jupiter in their birth charts and have Libra, Capricorn, Aries, Gemini, or Leo as their natal ninefold (Navamansa) ascendant are likely to experience positive period beginning November 4.

About the current state of Impeachment inquiry, as I covered in my last month’s insights—looking back, it is interesting to note that, during Saturn retrograde period (which ended just about early September) the whole Ukraine scandal was brewing secretly behind the scene.  Even the “Whistleblower” who filed the complaint on August 22, had to wait to see it come out in public’s view until the third week of September.  

Now the direct Saturn, with almost at it’s average speed, details of the scandal have been coming out in open (under impeachment inquiry) in a very expeditious manner. During November, in addition to unfavorable Saturn’s transit, Venus also becomes unfavorable for President Trump (more on this below) especially when it comes dealing with women (speaker of the house), It will, therefore, be another tumultuous month not only for the President, but for Washington D.C., and therefore, for the the United States.  

Retrograde Mercury (November 1-21) 

On November 1, the planet Mercury becomes retrograde in sidereal Scorpio. It will stay in Scorpio until November 7, then with its retrograde motion will enter Libra. It becomes direct on November 21. Typically retrograde Mercury means anxieties, communication breakdowns, unexpected delays, frustrations, missing deadlines, unforeseen obstacles and disappointment in daily chores. Retrograde Mercury in Scorpio means more frustrating periods for leaders in military, military personnel, people working in hospitals and funeral homes and activists, politicians, athletes, terrorists and people involved in secrecy and covert operations.  This is the time not to start a new project or venture, but rather reflect on what’s been done so far.  Also, this is the best time to cleanup that closet and do other chores that you have been postponing due to lack of time.

In addition, if you have dominating Mercury in your birth chart and if Mercury is currently your operating planet, then you are more likely to experience the pronounced effects of retrograde Mercury during this period with respect to matters signified by the house it’s currently transiting through in your progressive chart.

Jupiter’s transit in the sidereal zodiac sign Sagittarius (November 4)

On November 4, Jupiter leaves (sidereal) Scorpio and enters the next zodiac sign, Sagittarius.  Jupiter’s transit from one zodiac sign to the next occurs, on average, once a year. Being its own zodiac sign Jupiter will be residing in its own home.  Therefore, for the entire world, in general, it’s going to be an auspicious time. Sagittarius is a mutable and fire sign, and it deals with philosophy, judiciary system, social justice, morality, and religion. 

On March 29, 2020, Jupiter enters Capricorn, it then becomes retrograde in Capricorn on May 11 and with its retrograde motion returns to Sagittarius on July 1, 2020. Thus, for just about three months it will be transiting through Capricorn before it returns to Sagittarius. Thereafter, it stays in Sagittarius until November 20, 2020. 

While in Capricorn, being a cardinal and earth sign ruled by Saturn, Jupiter in Capricorn has a tendency to enhance material prosperity of those who have well placed and well connected Saturn and Jupiter in their birth charts while others likely to experience their prosperity diminish. In general, transit of Jupiter in Capricorn is positive from material prosperity standpoint. It must be noted that despite Jupiter’s positive influence on world material prosperity, influence of other planets should be taken into consideration to assess the net effect for an individual based on his or her natal chart. In addition, during this period of March 20 – July 1, 2020,  the influence of contemporary philosophers on society will shape the future direction of our social evolution through the philosophical and metaphysical debates. In general, the Capricorn Jupiter is known to be responsible for world economic expansion.

Since Jupiter will be in conjunction with Pluto during March 27 – April 15, 2020 in Capricorn, the possibility of a severe religious or morality crisis as well as financial crisis are very likely.  Certainly the way we have the religious and morality based norms today will be challenged by the new forces of human evolution. And the world financial markets will exhibit unprecedented volatility.  The contemporary philosophers, reformers, industrialists, scientists, and all those who have power to influence people with their unique intelligence based talents will enjoy this period to its fullest.

About President Donald Trump and his challenges……(Impeachment?) 

President Trump’s operating planets (the planets that presently active for him) for November continue to be Saturn and Venus. And they will continue to be operating planets for him for several more years. 

During November Saturn will continue to be in the sidereal Sagittarius, in the seventh house of his Gochar (transit) chart, and in the 5th house of his ninefold Gochar (transit) chart until November 25, and then in the 6th house of his ninefold Gochar (transit) chart. Venus will be in sidereal Scorpio (the 6th house of his Gochar chart) until November 21 and then in Sagittarius (the 7th house of his Gochar chart) for the rest of the month.

From Dasa standpoint, Saturn continues to be unfavorable, being in the seventh house of his progressive chart, and also unfavorable, being in the 5th house of his ninefold Gochar chart until November 25. As a result, Mr. Trump, as has been and will continue to face challenges in dealing with his friends and adversaries alike. In light of the “whistleblower’s complaint” he will continue to be more and more frustrated by the on going friction with investigations by several house committees as impeachment inquiry continues. In addition he will be dealing with his self-created feud with Congress men and women and others. He will even get involved in direct confrontations with people that will include his cabinet and family  members.  In addition, being in the 5th of of his ninefold Gochar chart) Saturn is unfavorable for him, and therefore, confusion and disappointment become keywords to describe his political experiences.

The manifestation of the 6th house (until Nov 21) and 7th house (for the rest of the month) resident transiting Venus is unfavorable for him. His worries about his survival as a president will intensify due to impeachment hearings and potential loss of GOP support in the senate trial. In addition, during the last ten days of November he will certainly have feud with women of high stature (Speaker of the House?), and that might result in bringing him down with unwanted challenges and failures, further accelerating his downfall.

Thus, during November, the challenging transit of Saturn and Venus present a very disappointing picture for him.  In addition, the conjunction of explosive and operating transiting planet Saturn with Pluto in the 7th house of his Gochar chart will certainly create more political and personal challenges from legality and insecurity standpoint, resulting in an yet another trying and frustrating month for him to deal with the impeachment inquiry by House democrats into the “whistleblower’s” complaint, his taxes and business dealings, friction with intelligence communities, and his feud with congress women and suspicious and insecure people around him. 

However, when one looks at the close conjunction of Sun and Rahu, and Rahu and Uranus in the 10th house of his natal chart,  and Moon in very close conjunction with the lunar node Ketu in the 4th house of his natal chart, it’s not very surprising why he operates the way he does.  It seems to me, he is totally driven by the country’s (USA) destiny (at least at this point in history) which is very closely tied with his own due to the Rahu-Uranus conjunction in the 10th house of his natal chart.

It’s the reflection of what collectively the country (USA) as a whole is going through at this point in time. Perhaps, it’s a part of painful process of transformation and discovery of the next phase of its evolution, as reflected in constant churning (and becoming aware of them) of our die hard social prejudices and inherent, deeply rooted biases. If the country’s destiny is at the crossroad of “CHANGE” at this point in history, that will certainly be reflected in political events of November.

Global Predictions……..

The important challenging planetary configurations for November include Uranus-Mars (Nov 22-24) opposition; Neptune-Saturn (Nov 5-12) and Saturn-Jupiter (Nov 15-19) ninefold oppositions, ; Pluto-Uranus (Nov 1-11) ninefold quincunx; Pluto-Mars (Nov 3-5) square and Pluto- Rahu/Ketu (Nov 5-14) ninefold squares.

The Uranus-Mars (Nov 22-24) opposition may become responsible for natural and man-made calamities, especially in the United States of America.

The Manifestation of the Neptune-Saturn (Nov 5-12) ninefold opposition may be reflected in rise in covert activities and likelihood of natural as well as man-made calamities. Places like Russia and China are likely to experience political and social turmoil. Non-democratic countries are likely to see shift of power from one faction (or dictator) to another. Religious activities around the world will likely to appear more secretive than open. 

The Saturn-Jupiter (Nov 15-19) ninefold opposition may become responsible for difficult time for world religions around the world. More controversies are likely to occur to test traditional moral values, and in general, religious authorities will have difficulty in having people keep their faith.

The Pluto-Uranus (Nov 1-11) ninefold quincunx could bring a unique change in the way the Trump administration deals with other nations with respect to its war against terrorism agenda, and also with its domestic matters. There will be a transformation of a political strategy that might become responsible of a change in the current political agenda, and foreign policy matters of the Trump administration as the planet Pluto with its tremendous energy has a power of irreversibly transforming the field of politics to a new level or setting with a new set of norms. Expect some serious issues that the Trump administration could get tangled with.

The Pluto-Mars (Nov 3-5) square may become responsible for for natural and man-made calamities all around the world, especially in the Middle-East region.

The important auspicious planetary configuration for November include Uranus-Rahu (Nov 2 – Dec 9), Uranus-Saturn (Nov 18-22) and Saturn-Rahu (Nov 19-23) ninefold trines; Neptune-Saturn (Oct 27 – Nov 18) sextile; Neptune-Jupiter (Nov 13-15) ninefold conjunction.

The manifestation of the Uranus-Rahu (Nov 2 – Dec 9), Uranus-Saturn (Nov 18-22) and Saturn-Rahu (Nov 19-23) ninefold trines may be reflected ina good period for religious activities all around the world.  Also, this is a great time for the USA to make some extraordinary progress in enhancing her image both internationally and domestically.

The Neptune-Saturn (Oct 27 – Nov 18) sextile is positive for religious activities all around the world as they are likely to expand with new vigor and energy. Conservatives will find ways to expand their agenda without compromising with liberals on sticky issues. Republicans will have upper hand over democrats. China and Russia are likely to experience a positive and rewarding period in handling their domestic issues as well as improving the foreign relations through better policies.

The Neptune-Jupiter (Nov 13-15) ninefold conjunction may become responsible for the challenges that world religions (or religious leaders) could face with earthshaking ideas that they must attend to.
