There are five major planetary configurations that will significantly influence world events in September, and they are: Mars-Pluto, Mars-Jupiter, and Uranus-Saturn quincunxes, and Neptune-Ketu and Pluto-Jupiter trines. By their unique characteristic quincunxes are challenges and difficulties, and they are likely to lead us to undesired events such as terrorism, suicide bombings, brutal attacks, unfortunate incidences, and both man-made and natural calamities. However, thank to Neptune-Ketu and Pluto-Jupiter trines as they will maintain the world stability and peace by countering the negative influence of the quincunxes and relieve world tension by way of economic expansion, and perhaps by way of improving peace between Israel and Palestine.
The other planetary configurations that may play a significant role in shaping September are Uranus-Saturn and Rahu/Ketu-Jupiter ninefold squares and Pluto-Ketu, Saturn-Ketu, and Pluto-Saturn ninefold trines. The influence of partial lunar eclipse on and around September 18, however, will be insignificant.
The countries that are likely to make headline news are: Russia, China, USA, Iraq, and Middle Eastern countries including Israel and Palestine.
- United States of America:
President Bush and his administration:
During the entire month Pluto’s trine with his natal Venus will help president Bush maintain his focus on his political agenda and achieve some results, especially the ones that deal with domestic issues. Also, he is most likely to change his position on certain domestic as well as international issues that will disappoint his own party leaders and the conservatives as his new position will reflect mostly the liberal agenda. During the first week of September the auspicious Jupiter will transit his natal Moon, and that will practically assure him either a domestic political victory or improved ratings in poll or both.
On the down side, the second half of the month will be very negative for him from health and safety standpoint as Neptune will quincunx his natal Sun. Ironically during the same period his father, the former President Bush, will be in news. Also, as his ninefold Saturn will be transiting his twelfth and the first house of his progressive chart, at personal level, he will be drowned in worries and likely to make some wrong decisions that he will come to regret later. Of course, during this month he should consider taking extra care for his personal safety. In addition, ninefold quincunxes of Mars with his natal Moon and Jupiter, and a ninefold square with Venus will certainly make him frustrated in dealing with the media and to some extent, even with his own administration.
The second half of the month will certainly be very challenging for the Bush administration in dealing with international crisis such as post Iraq war issues, and Israel-Palestine conflict.
The Country:
While the presence of Neptune-Uranus ninefold quincunx until September 12 will be responsible for continued debate on role of religion at work place and controversial morality issues—stem cells research, separation of church and government, etc., the Mars-Jupiter quincunx (almost through the entire month) will force religious authorities to make drastic changes in their daily activities as well as in their agendas. Also, the influence of Uranus-Saturn (Sept 14-28) and Mars-Pluto (Sept 12-24) quincunxes will be reflected in violence, social chaos and a continued debate and protest of Iraq war. A renewed friction between liberals and conservatives on issues ranging from Iraq war to domestic economic issues will dominate the news during middle part of the month. The relationship between USA and China will continue to be challenging, especially on the economic issues.
For the Republic party September 14-28 period will certainly prove to be challenging in dealing with politics and democrats. In addition, a friction between senior party leaders and the Bush administration due to a serious disagreement on post-Iraq war conflict is also likely to emerge during the same period.
While the democrats are likely to enjoy the second week of the month, the third week (Sept 19-23) is certainly not positive for them as they will be forced to defend their position on domestic issues and perhaps may have to deal with a new serious crisis situation in their party.
During September 19-23 period US casualties in Iraq will be on rise.
· Russia: Pretty much the entire month, except possibly Sept 19-23 period, looks good for Russia and Putin administration. Economic growth will accelerate during this month. The relationship with the USA will certainly improve.
· Europe: In general, the second half of the month (Sept 14-28) is not positive for the continent as it will be filled with news reflecting economic worries and tension between the USA and major European countries. During the same period events of natural calamity, suicide bombings or violence are likely.
· China, Japan, and Pacific-rim countries: The first and the last week of the month are positive for China from economic growth as well as international prestige standpoint. However, an event leading to increased friction with USA is likely to occur during the middle part of the month (Sept 14-28). Japanese economy will continue to grow faster than the economies of the surrounding pacific-rim region countries.
· Religion: The presence of Neptune-Uranus ninefold quincunx will be responsible for considerations for religious reforms as continued debate over the role of religion in society and controversial morality issues—such as stem cell research dominate news in the religious world. Mars-Jupiter quincunx (almost through the entire month) will force religious authorities to make drastic changes in their daily activities as well as in their agendas. A loss of a well known religious leader is likely during this month.
· Natural and Man-made Calamities: Almost through the entire month we are likely to witness both the natural and man-made disasters. While Mars-Pluto (Sept 12-24) quincunx is likely to manifest in the form of violence, suicide bombings, and fire related natural disasters the Uranus-Saturn (Sept 14-28) quincunx is likely to be responsible for chaotic situation, especially in the United States and the Middle East region. Mars-Jupiter quincunx will certainly cause destruction of wealth due to natural disasters. Also, likelihood of occurrence of local level and personal tragedies will be very high during this month.
While man-made calamities may manifest themselves in terrorism, unrest, violence, and accidents, the natural calamities are likely to include extreme weather conditions such as severe cold winters, and equally intensive droughts; and thunderstorms, earthquakes, air crashes and fires.
