Although it’s very difficult to predict the influence of planetary energy on a given individual without referring to his or her birth chart the following is intended only as a general guideline. For confirmation, however, you must refer to your birth chart. Based on the assessment of planetary strengths or weaknesses in your birth chart, placement of planets in your Gochar (transit) and ninefold Gochar (transit) chart and the current operating planets, the following may be applicable

Neptune-Uranus ninefold trine (Jan 20 – Feb 16)

Uranus-Neptune trine is going to be very favorable for those who have these planets favorably placed in their natal charts.  Expect some sort of spiritual awakening, monetary gains, promotions and improved prestige in professional and social fields.  The idea that you always wanted to pursue a non-material goal but somehow could never get started….now is the time to follow that dream. You will distinctly notice and feel the positive energy flowing through you during this period.  It’s time to jump in and enjoy this spiritual period.

On a collective level, this is an extraordinary time for collective spiritual growth, technological discoveries and inventions.  Expect some new important technological breakthroughs during this month. For the United States, in general, it’s going to be a remarkable and very successful period.

Saturn-Jupiter sextile (Jan 24 – Feb 19)

Jupiter-Saturn sextile is favorable for those who have such sextile in their natal charts.  A proper balance between the optimism and conservatism will protect you from becoming over optimistic (or aggressive) as well as over protective.  If you have such sextile in your birth chart and if any one of these planets is presently active in your Gochar (transit) chart then you are likely to enjoy this period with full vigor and success as it would seem to come to you naturally. So enjoy! 

On a collective level, religions around the world will enjoy their activities with positive experiences.  People will likely to be convinced with the importance of moral values and will have no difficulty in maintaining their religious faith. 

Uranus-Rahu (and Ketu) ninefold square(s) (Jan 28 – Feb 8)

Uranus-Rahu and Uranus-Ketu ninefold squares are going to be very unfavorable for those who have such squares in their natal charts.  Sudden loss of money and power, demotions at work place and/or tarnished reputation in professional and social fields are some of the symptoms of these squares. If you have these squares in your birth chart, and if any one of these planets is being active through your Gochar (transit) chart, then they need be very careful. The best thing to do is not to make any new commitment, and totally avoid taking any business or monetary risk. Remember the time when you felt financially secured and happy with family, and then suddenly the landscape turned against you and everything disappeared. Well, if not exactly the same way but something like this has a good potential to happen (again) …be careful!

On a collective level, United States and particularly the President Biden and his administration should take extra precaution in dealing with foreign matters. Terrorist activities are likely to occur in the United States besides the volatile region of the Middle-East (Afghanistan, Pakistan, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Israel and Palestine). 

Neptune-Rahu ninefold quincunx (Jan 30 – Feb 6)

If you have Neptune-Rahu quincunx (with either of these planets being especially in the sixth, eighth, or the twelfth house) in your birth chart, and if your Gochar (transit) chart is activated by one of these planets, then you are likely to experience instability in your life caused due to sudden change in your routine activities and deceptive surroundings.  Such experiences might turn out to be very unfortunate and frustrating.  It would certainly be wise not to commit to anything new and stay low key and be very watchful during this period.

On a collective level, social as well as economic turmoil in Russia and China cannot be ruled out.  Covert activities around the world may find a new momentum (but because of Neptune’s secretive character we may never know) with regard to terrorism and other international conflicts.

Mars-Pluto Conjunction (Feb 13-15)

Typically this conjunction offers very sudden and extremely undesirable result with astonishing speed.  For those who have such conjunction in their birth charts, and if they have any one of these planets being activated through their Gochar (transit) charts, then they need be extra careful. For those ones, perhaps these might prove to be the worst five days of the year. Avoid making any new commitment and taking any new risk. Also, experiences like a sudden incident of fire, or an accident, or a financial misfortune are the doings of this conjunction.

On the world scene, escalation of terrorism and violence, especially in Israel-Palestine area are very likely. Also, sudden outbreak of an undesirable happening, and strong possibilities of both natural and man-made calamities are also likely. The countries that are most likely to be affected during these days will be the Syria, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Palestine and Israel.

Uranus-Jupiter ninefold square (Feb 14-19)

While Jupiter deals with outward and material things Uranus’s impulse is very sudden and with severe intensity.  If you have such square in your birth chart and if you have any one of these two planets is active in your Gochar (transit) chart then you are certainly going to have an experience of an extreme transformation (irreversible change) in your beliefs and moral values that you have been attached to. This period is challenging.  If you overcome the challenge, then it’s time for marching ahead with a quantum leap in the process of self-discovery (or evolution). 

On the world scene, world religions are likely to be challenged with earthshaking ideas that they must attend to. Those religious leaders, who are willing to be open minded and ready to listen and act on new and fresh ideas, are the ones that going to be responsible to transform our religious world to a new level. Others are going to fade away with time. 

Saturn-Rahu ninefold conjunction (Saturn-Ketu opposition) (Feb 15-18)

When the Saturn-Rahu ninefold conjunction occurs, it’s not a favorable period for those who have such a conjunction or square in their birth charts. In addition, if the lunar node Rahu (or Ketu), or Saturn is affecting your life via your Gochar (transit) chart, then you might want to consider taking extra precautions in the areas which are affected by these planets as shown in your natal chart.  The affected people should avoid taking any kind of risk at any cost during this period.  Such conjunction can make things difficult for you and make you feel miserable. Staying low key is certainly the way to go.  Avoid any new ventures and postpone the matters that require you to make a crucial decision till this period is passed. 

On a collective level, Russia, China and to some extent, Europe may experience social or political turmoil during this period. Also, for the Republican Party in the United States and for republicans, it may prove to be prudent to stay on guard during this period.

Pluto-Jupiter ninefold opposition (Feb 17 – March 2)

In your birth chart if Jupiter and Pluto are either in conjunction or opposition, and if either of these planets is currently active in your Gochar (transit) chart, then you are perhaps standing on the thresh-hold of a new era that’s about to begin in your life. Depending on the houses these planets occupy in your birth chart, you are going to have a totally new and a very different experience in that particular field. Be ready to accept this new setting with new challenges as well as the rewards that come with them.

On a collective level, religious and academic and to some extent social fields are very likely to see changes coming in their respective fields. Initial reaction to the change might appear to be a bit confusing and perhaps chaotic, but a majority of us are going to embrace this new wave of change and very likely to enjoy it.

Uranus-Saturn ninefold square (Feb 23-29)

Saturn-Uranus ninefold square is unfavorable for you if you have such a square or opposition in your birth chart. In addition, if the planet Uranus or Saturn is active via your Gochar (transit) chart, then you might want to consider taking extra precautions in the areas which are affected by these planets as shown in your natal chart.  You should avoid taking any kind of risk at any cost during this period.  Such square or opposition can make things so miserable and difficult for you that most likely you are not going to forget them in your entire life. Staying low key is certainly the way to go.  Avoid any new ventures and postpone the matters that you want to begin till this period is passed. 

On a collective level, the United States of America, Russia or China may experience a social or political turmoil at home as well as tensions rising between them. 

Neptune-Saturn ninefold quincunx (Feb 28 – Mar 6)

If you have Neptune-Saturn quincunx in your birth chart and if in your Gochar (transit) chart anyone of these planets is active then you are likely to experience a subtle but serious financial or social setback or an unpleasant secret will be revealed to you. If you are planning to take a long distance (overseas) trip during this period, be extra careful for nasty surprises, or even being stranded in places you never dream of. You may experience situations totally beyond your control.

On collective level, covert activities will be on rise. Possibilities of natural as well as man-made calamities are very likely during this period. Places like Russia and China are likely to experience political and social turmoil. Non-democratic countries are likely to see shift of power from one faction (or dictator) to another. Religious activities around the world will likely to appear more secretive than open.
