Although it’s very difficult to predict the influence of planetary energy on a given individual without referring to his or her birth chart the following is intended only as a general guideline. For confirmation, however, you must refer to your birth chart. Based on the assessment of planetary strengths or weaknesses in your birth chart, placement of planets in your Gochar (transit) and ninefold Gochar (transit) chart and the current operating planets, the following may be applicable.

Pluto-Uranus ninefold square (Dec 26 – Jan 7)

On an individual level, if in your birth chart Pluto makes a square with Uranus, and if either of these planets is currently active in your Gochar (transit) chart, then you are very likely to be affected by this square.  Depending on the houses these planets occupy in your birth chart, you are going to have a sudden and a totally new and a very unpleasant experience in that particular field. Pluto-Rahu ninefold conjunction and Pluto-Ketu opposition (Jan 15-22)

Rahu-Pluto conjunction occurs, on average, once every 16-17 years. Unless these planets are favorably placed in your birth chart, such opposition or squares between Pluto and lunar nodes, in general, means drastic changes (transformations) pertaining to aspects of your life described by the houses they belong to. And perhaps, towards the end of this period due to Pluto’s transformation process, the resulting changes are likely to become irreversible. Hope we see some kind of a solution. In other words, the orthodox religious leaders may come under social and moral pressures to change the way they handle their responsibilities.

Uranus-Neptune trine is going to be very favorable for those who have these planets favorably placed in their natal charts.  Expect some sort of spiritual awakening, monetary gains, promotions and improved prestige in professional and social fields.  The idea that you always wanted to pursue a non-material goal but somehow could never get started….now is the time to follow that dream. You will distinctly notice and feel the positive energy flowing through you during this period.  It’s time to jump in and enjoy this spiritual period.

On a collective level, this is an extraordinary time for collective spiritual growth, technological discoveries and inventions.  Expect some new important technological breakthroughs during this month. For the United States, in general, it’s going to be a remarkable and very successful period.

Jupiter-Rahu ninefold quincunx is going to be unfavorable for those who have such placement in their natal charts.  Insecure feelings, loss of direction in life, general unhappiness, difficulty in keeping the faith in God are some of the symptoms of this quincunx.  If you have such quincunx in your birth chart and if any one of these two planets is presently active through the transit (Gochar) chart then you need to look at the things with a different attitude. The best thing to do is to stay the course of present action without making any new commitment. Remember the time when you felt the life is not fair and not worth living, very unsure to yourself, and unhappy with family, well, that’s how you going to feel this time. Neptune-Saturn ninefold opposition (Jan 20-27)

Uranus-Rahu (and Ketu) ninefold square(s) (Jan 28 – Feb 8)

Uranus-Rahu and Uranus-Ketu ninefold squares are going to be very unfavorable for those who have such squares in their natal charts.  Sudden loss of money and power, demotions at work place and/or tarnished reputation in professional and social fields are some of the symptoms of these squares. If you have these squares in your birth chart, and if any one of these planets is being active through your Gochar (transit) chart, then they need be very careful. The best thing to do is not to make any new commitment, and totally avoid taking any business or monetary risk. Remember the time when you felt financially secured and happy with family, and then suddenly the landscape turned against you and everything disappeared. Well, if not exactly the same way but something like this has a good potential to happen (again) …be careful!

On a collective level, United States and particularly the President Biden and his administration should take extra precaution in dealing with foreign matters. Terrorist activities are likely to occur in the United States besides the volatile region of the Middle-East (Afghanistan, Pakistan, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Israel and Palestine). 

Mars-Rahu and Mars-Ketu Squares (Jan 29-31)

During these few days, Mars makes square to each of the lunar nodes. Typically these squares are very unfavorable and unfortunate in general.  For those who have such squares in their birth charts, and if they have any one of these planets being active through the Gochar (transit) charts, they need be careful. The best thing to do is to lay low key, not make any new commitment, and avoid taking any sort of risk.  

On the world scene, both natural and man-made calamities causing destruction and loss of lives during these days are likely.

Neptune-Rahu ninefold quincunx (Jan 30 – Feb 6)

If you have Neptune-Rahu quincunx (with either of these planets being especially in the sixth, eighth, or the twelfth house) in your birth chart, and if your Gochar (transit) chart is activated by one of these planets, then you are likely to experience instability in your life caused due to sudden change in your routine activities and deceptive surroundings.  Such experiences might turn out to be very unfortunate and frustrating.  It would certainly be wise not to commit to anything new and stay low key and be very watchful during this period.

On a collective level, social as well as economic turmoil in Russia and China cannot be ruled out.  Covert activities around the world may find a new momentum (but because of Neptune’s secretive character we may never know) with regard to terrorism and other international conflicts.
