Although it’s very difficult to predict the influence of planetary energy on a given individual without referring to his or her birth chart the following is intended only as a general guideline. For confirmation, however, you must refer to your birth chart. Based on the assessment of planetary strengths or weaknesses in your birth chart, placement of planets in your Gochar (transit) and ninefold Gochar (transit) chart and the current operating planets, the following may be applicable.

Pluto-Rahu and Pluto-Ketu ninefold squares (Aug 29 – Sept 14)

The ninefold squares of Pluto with the lunar nodes are generally have tendencies to destroy the present setting of life and transform it in to a totally new one. Those who have better placed lunar nodes and their connections with Pluto, are likely to adapt well to this new change and move to their next level of evolution, while others are likely to struggle and may find the change unbearable. Perhaps the best way to deal with this situation is to stay alert and be extremely cautious in dealing with your surroundings that affect you. Avoid taking any new risk during this period.  And probably be prepared for situations that are going to get worse before they get better with new direction in life. Staying low key is certainly the way to go.  Avoid any new ventures and postpone the matters that you wanted to begin till this period is passed. 

On a collective level, a new wave of renewed violence in Ukraine, Israel and Palestinians, as well as outbreak of terrorism around the world during these days are real possibilities.

Rahu-Jupiter ninefold conjunction (Ketu-Jupiter opposition) (Aug 29 – Sept 9)

While Rahu-Jupiter ninefold conjunction is likely to temporarily favor orthodox and ultra conservative religious authorities, it also is going to sow seed of self destruction for those authorities.  Some sort of religious upheaval or conflict is likely to surface during this period.  

For those who have favorable Rahu-Jupiter aspect in their birth charts are likely to see some positive changes occurring in their lives during this period.  However, for those who have lunar nodes squaring with the Jupiter are likely to face some rough times during this period.

On a collective level, besides the influence of this energy on religion as stated above, Rahu-Jupiter conjunction may become responsible in slowing down social progress, humanitarian efforts, and charity work.  The morality, in general, is likely to take a backseat.

Pluto-Jupiter ninefold square (Sept 2-8)

This is an important planetary event for people who deal with religion, religious and academic institutes. This ninefold square might create religious challenges as the planet Pluto with its tremendous energy has a power to irreversibly transform the field of religion and academics to a new level or setting with a new set of norms. 

In your birth chart if Jupiter and Pluto are either in square, and if either of these planets is currently active in your life via your Gocher (transit) chart, then you are about to face new challenges in your life. Depending on the houses these planets occupy in your birth chart, you are going to have a totally new and very different and challenging experience in that particular field. Be ready to accept this new challenge since you could receive the rewards if you succeed.

On a collective level, religious and academic and to some extent social fields are very likely to see changes coming in their respective fields. Initial reaction to the change might appear to be a bit confusing and perhaps chaotic, but a majority of us are going to embrace this new wave of change and are very likely to enjoy it.

Pluto-Saturn ninefold quincunx (Sept 11-16)

For those who have quincunx, square, or opposition of Pluto and Saturn in their birth charts, and if their Gochar (transit) chart is activated by either of these planets, they are likely to experience a severe setback or turmoil in their lives.  Such quincunx can become a very strong force to destroy the current setting of your lifestyle due to misfortune or things beyond your control and transform it to a totally new life setting which may or may not be desirable depending on the strength and positive influence of these planets in the natal chart. In any event it’s going to be an irreversible event.

On a collective level, expect another outbreak of violence and terrorist activities in Middle-East, a strong possibility of natural as well as man-made calamities, and to some extent, war-like climate in some part of the world. Tension between Israelis and Palestinians will remain unabated. Some of the east-European countries, Russia, Ukraine and China may experience political as well as social turmoil.

Uranus-Saturn Square (Sept 15 – Oct 23)

Saturn-Uranus square is unfavorable for you if you have such a square or opposition in your birth chart. In addition, if the planet Uranus or Saturn is active via your Gochar (transit) chart, then you might want to consider taking extra precautions in the areas which are affected by these planets as shown in your natal chart.  You should avoid taking any kind of risk at any cost during this period.  Such square or opposition can make things so miserable and difficult for you that most likely you are not going to forget them in your entire life. Staying low key is certainly the way to go.  Avoid any new ventures and postpone the matters that you want to begin till this period is passed. 

On a collective level, the United States of America, Russia or China may experience a social or political turmoil at home as well as tensions rising between them. 

Neptune-Jupiter ninefold square (Sept 23-28)

Both Jupiter and Neptune are considered as auspicious planets. While Jupiter deals with outward and with material things Neptune’s energy is activated in a very abstract and subtle way.  If you have such square in your birth chart, and if you have any one of these two planets active via your Gochar (transit) chart then you are certainly going to have a potential for transformation (irreversible change) in your beliefs and moral values that you have been attached to. It’s time for marching ahead with a quantum step in the process of self-discovery (or evolution). Embrace this period with total openness and vulnerability.
